You guys do realise the death penalty doesn't lead straight to death, right? It's not a matter of days before death. It's years of retrials and double, triple checking to make sure they have the right guy.

The American system is flawed at carrying out the death penalty because they want to be sure and check it 3 times and allow them to appeal in case, etc
