Yes but traditionalism isn't necessarily bad
so do you think the killing of homosexuals and women who don't conver is wrong?
wife beating?
the killing of homosexuals is if its done publicly, I don't think anyone likes to see two people having intercourse in public
its done to protect society from degeneracy
if you're gay then you can continue being gay as long as you keep it behind closed doors
no one has any right to spy on you either
i don't think thats what happens in the middle east...
The role of the church is to provide an example of objective morals within a society. Even as we speak, the tenants of Christian values are evident in the way the majority of American conduct. If I had to pick a church that the state would promote, it would be a toss up between the LDS faith (due to its heavy emphasis on family values and that the family is eternal) or the Cosmothesists (since they think in terms of eternity rather than the instant gratification of the individual).
The issue today is that the middle east isn't actually ruled according to Islamic law
they take certain aspects of it and apply it, but in reality its secular
>that isn't the true islam
every Muslim ever
I'm not making the commie excuse of "its never been applied" if thats what you're implying
sometimes i feel like Muslims are as divided as Christians
If you want to know Islamic law then look at the previous caliphates that applied Islamic law
Ottomans, Ummayads, Abbasids and the list goes on
Ottomans for example had many non Muslims living under them
many cities had non Muslim majority
if they were so oppressed living under the Muslims then how did they last for hundreds of years
The moment they stopped expanding, it fell apart.
Anatolia was ruled by the Ottomans for hundreds of years yet had non Muslim majority in many parts

Do you think that within the century we will see the rise of a new major religion? If so, what do you think that religion will be
@Bruni you need to go into server settings, roles, at the bottom is the religion role, edit it so it can be pinged, then tag it, once u tagged it go back and disable it's ping so users don't spam the tagb
I doubt it
i would say we already have in the 20th century. a lot of new age religions that have sizable followings. i dont see any reason for people to stop this century. in fact the dehumanization of many modern developed societies might push more people to religion, both old and new age ones.
If you count it as a religion, I’d guess Atheism is going to start growing along with millennials and their following generations. @Bruni
It's a system of belief with a cohesive world view and a moral code so it counts to me
I think in the coming years we're going to see the rise of a new White racialist religion though, so many Whites are waking up that it's only a matter of time
From what I've seen of it it's Individualism, Egoism, and Hedonism
alright is there some sort of "doctrine of atheism" that says you must be those things?
Atheism is simply the lack of belief. It has no defined moral code
thats like saying "not playing a sport" is a sport
I just don't understand why people keep saying "lol atheism is a religion"
atheism might grow with millennials, but gen z is predicted and already beginning to show signs of conservatism. it really will be the new counter culture to the insanity being established presently. So gen z will likely turn to religion again, both old age and new age alike.
