Overall safety is step number one on needs, freedom comes afterwards. Once you reach a certain level of safety you start focusing on freedom.

2019-10-13 16:10:27 UTC

I'd rather live in a society with no laws or authority than one where I don't think for myself

2019-10-13 16:11:16 UTC

Like it would be so much more fun I'd rather want to die having "fun" than starving to death because the dictators don't care enough about the individual

2019-10-13 16:11:29 UTC

2019-10-13 16:12:10 UTC

If you’re starving to death how is that putting safety first

2019-10-13 16:12:29 UTC

You are unsafe if you’re starving to death

2019-10-13 16:12:34 UTC

Because what if the food is poisoned

2019-10-13 16:12:36 UTC

That's pretty unsafe

2019-10-13 16:12:39 UTC

Better not eat food

2019-10-13 16:12:40 UTC

Let’s put forward an example...

You want to go to a holiday party but you would have to walk through a heavy blizzard with no marked path to get there, and you only have a t-shirt and shorts on. Do you run outside towards the party or do at the very least put a coat on?

2019-10-13 16:12:42 UTC

I'm not talking specifically about that

2019-10-13 16:12:44 UTC

In order to achieve total security

2019-10-13 16:12:47 UTC

So you would be unsafe either way

2019-10-13 16:12:54 UTC

Starving isn’t safe

2019-10-13 16:13:12 UTC

But eating food that might be poisoned isn't safe either

2019-10-13 16:13:21 UTC

So better just kill yourself since you can't eat food nor not eat food

2019-10-13 16:13:27 UTC

So either way safety isn’t being put first so it’s not a relevant example

2019-10-13 16:13:43 UTC

@GlobalDelete And this is why people don’t work in absolutes.

2019-10-13 16:13:44 UTC

Killing yourself isn’t safe though

2019-10-13 16:13:53 UTC

😳 😳

2019-10-13 16:14:02 UTC
2019-10-13 16:14:02 UTC

Better just phase out of existence then

2019-10-13 16:14:31 UTC

Freedom first

2019-10-13 16:14:37 UTC

I'm talking about the totalitarian vs anarcho-libertarianism argument not safety over freedom

2019-10-13 16:14:44 UTC

shut up liberal LOLOLOLOLOLOLO

i am ceo of sex 🙈

2019-10-13 16:15:38 UTC

Alright retards keep it to the topic at hand

2019-10-13 16:15:52 UTC

Or take this to general

2019-10-13 16:16:23 UTC

both are equally important

2019-10-13 16:20:34 UTC

Freedom is a deceptive word. One has duties, not freedoms. Security first, then fulfill your duties

2019-10-13 16:30:37 UTC

@Bruni what? So there’s no freedoms in your mind. What are the duties one has

2019-10-13 16:30:45 UTC

Ayy

2019-10-13 16:30:56 UTC

So, what's this server generally like?

2019-10-13 16:38:58 UTC

@☥ ρατ ☤ the People have duties to the State and the State has duties to the People. These duties include things like the State protecting the People from enemies foreign and domestic and the People have the duty to purge the State of corruption, however that happens is up to the people that do it, I don't condone or condemn anyone's choices in how they do this

2019-10-13 16:40:30 UTC

the only thing that matters

2019-10-13 16:40:34 UTC

is peepee in the mouth

2019-10-13 16:42:10 UTC

@Bruni the people also have a duty to fight for their country.

2019-10-13 17:25:59 UTC

Freedom

2019-10-14 18:32:59 UTC

@everyone Question Of The Day:

Are we as a society becoming too engrained with technology? Will automation and convenience be the downfall of humanity? Why?
