They will of course selectively edit speeches from August 12th to frame white advocacy in the scariest way possible but that's better than no coverage at all
@MadDimension they probably won't include any reasonable talking points.
@kristall.night Of course not
A written statement if agreed to be published in full would be closest to a fair shake. If they can't chop an interview up and edit it they just won't use it
The only good articles and videos of interviews by the MSM I've seen are the ones where /ourguys/ are blatantly trolling the journos
@wyatt I'm pretty much "the leadership" right now. Not hearing from anyone else. Oh well, it's gotten us this far
If you're being filmed/recorded, make sure to record it yourself too. Tape all phone calls so you can't be misquoted.
@MadDimension they'll probably overlay your statements with videos of the Klan or something
@Herrenvolk - MD link to that interview?
@kristall.night Good point. I need to get them to agree to some ground rules before going in
@kristall.night We have reasonable talking points?
What is this National Review?
@MadDimension assume hostility
yes. If you do anything, make them agree to 1: let you approve it before they're allowed to publish, and 2: they must publish in full. You'll know they're trying to fuck you over if they won't agree.
If you're gonna bother with "ground rules" just make sure you have them agreeing to the rules on tape so you can call them out for breaking those rules later.
@Tyrone All of our talking points are reasonable but can easily be put into context where they sound absurd
@kristall.night Our only talking point is GTK-RWN.
Which I find reasonable, but I don't imagine Nat-Geo will like to print.
Has anyone actually seen a program by Nat Geo?
Nothing overtly political that I can think of but I rarely watch tv
Didn't Nat-Geo do a Klan documentary from the Fed controlled group that got pulled when we started making them report that?
Or was that TLC?
A&E? Pretty sure it wasn't Nat Geo
@MadDimension It's obviously up to you and other group leaders, but I wouldn't grant them an interview.
@kristall.night Looking at this there's probably very little I would tell them
From these videos it looks like they put a lot of inflammatory video over a tiny snippet of what you're saying to discredit you. Doesn't seem like a useful platform
They'll probably just use you as background footage for a narrator to talk over, and only take clips of you talking that they can make sound bad.
You could try feeding them obviously false info to troll them... That would be funny.
Show them printing crap without any fact checking just because it fits their narrative.
@MadDimension Why would it fall to you anyway? There are public faces of this event that should be handling something like this. Just a thought
Kessler is certainly a public face
He may be smaller than other speakers, but he's been huge in Charlottesville politics and organizing the event.
@MadDimension Yep. That's why we have our own media now. Put them in the position where they have to pay people like @V I T A L I T Y and Red Ice for content to use
@MikeEnoch will have some useful advice in dealing with journalist looking to do hit pieces. @kristall.night summed it up best I think ^^^
I've had this conversation with @MikeEnoch before. His strategy is feeding misinfo
Jason has given comprehensive and well delivered interviews multiple times, he *is* the media and understands them.
I think interviews for nightly news segment is a bit of a different ballgame than a highly edited production like Nat Geo documentaries, though. With the normal news, at least you know what context they'll be using it in (coverage of whatever event you're at/talking about), a documentary could be anything. "Why White People Should Die" featuring white supreeeeemist Jason Kessler
@kristall.night I agree. I don't think there's anything useful to be gained from going on camera for these people
I'll talk to them off-record only
I think they will write what they want and edit how they want but I still say Jason is highly qualified and we aren't hiding anyway, we are *normal*
Just pull an Alex Jones v. Meghan Kelly and record everything then turn it back on them
I'm not arguing that Kessler isn't qualified. He's done some great interviews. Nat geo is just blatantly anti-white & don't deserve the opportunity for an interview when we already know what type of shit they'll use it for..
