The fear of getting caught.
@Jake the Exile That would require the presumption that people ARE raised in such a mindset to begin with. I'm fairly certain most people don't think that a person's parents teach them that criminality is okay. Nevermind that would require psychoanalyzing every family unit in order to determine if they're teaching their kids "the right thing"
Most people. Commit many crimes before being caught once.
There's tons of police in the UK, and yet terrorist attacks still occur a LOT iirc
Because that's an outlier.
suuuuuure it fucking is
France?
Cases where the individual dies in the act
Or plans on dying.
Are very different
@NinjaQuick The UK is an outlier based on what, exactly?
@Raintola Well you tell me then. Where does "fuck the police" come from?
lol
why waste money feeding druggies
Most crimes are opportunity.
just fine the shit out of them
@Raintola well there's evidence to point to black mothers teaching their kids to stay away from police and the attitude around the inner cities of america to be very anti police
@Jake the Exile The same place "fuck the church" comes from in people raised in a religious home. They come to that conclusion on their own.
Which causes crime
well
you know what would really deter crime?
military patrols
If a person plans on dying in the act, they are far less worried about being caught.
@Muten Staying away from police doesn't equate to committing crime though. Hell, I'd bet most white families teach their kids to stay away from the cops too..by not committing crime
suicide by cop is very uncommon
So what about the Knife Crime in London @NinjaQuick?
Explain
@NinjaQuick No shit, which is the entire point. No one gives a fuck about punishment not preventing crime because it was never designed to in the first place.
@Raintola the thing is that due to the massive amounts of police in inner cities it leads to alot of tension not to mention the anti white rhetoric and "white mans world" syndrome that also plagues these areas
It is
Nah
You know what would really deter crime? Strong local communities and social cohesion.
^
Deterrence theory is the core of the justice system dogma.
Fuck the dogma
If punishment was intended to prevent, life sentences would be the norm for first time offenders. Can't re-offend if you never make it out of jail.

That violates the seventh ammendment
And?
