The game about base building became a walking base simulator with units you unlocked through grinding multiplayer and if you fought in missions or in MP? You wouldn't have them until you unlocked them through a tedious process. The units became blocks of hp and engagements between two units took almost a full minute to resolve while they plinked away at one another.
