The black ones are cool
The legal ones already here that aren't apart of daca or whatever would be here the Hispanics left after the majority are deported are cool.
And the asians are really small minority, but Indians and Chinese people through programs are coming over under these economic guises and are detracting from the organic work that we are already putting ourselves through college and uni's to get to
It's from both ends with the immigration thing
End gerrymandering and many problems go away naturally
@Marushia Dark good talk bud
I hope y'all sleep well, goodnight
Gerrymandering is only possible by how free voting districts are to change. Is there a practical solution while maintaining unlimbered voting customs?
There is no solution to democracy
It's an end goal, nothing comes after it
Is it ideal? Certainly not
Do we have a better system? Not that I know
There are some neccessary stops to democracy, most importantly the required distribution of power
Other than that there's not really anything
Gerrymandering is nothing more than an attempt to undermine democracy
Civic republicanism is the best form of government.
Also, I’ve never supported building a border wall.
That won’t help deal with the illegal immigrants who entered the US legally but outstayed their visas.
It would massively reduce illegal immigration though
Deportation is much more of a symptom treatment in comparison, so if you're again illegal immigration then the wall should be nr1 on your checklist
An improved system of radio towers, guard posts, and motion detectors would be more cost-effective and cost-efficient.
Don’t assume I’m an open borders advocate just because I don’t think the wall is feasible.
Maybe a mixture of wall and security is best
I think the wall is too much of a clusterfuck to build.
idk, in some areas they've constructed a wall and no more illegals are coming through there, where they used to com in the thousands every day
Do these walls cross state lines?
afaik they were privately built, so idk
I only have surface level knowledge of the technicalities
I need more than that, sorry.
Expand the grand canyon, use the rocks to build a wall on the american side of it, then fill it halfway up with water.
Border moat 👌
Can’t.
There's also the argument that a wall cannot be easily undone
So a wall would not dissolve simply because of a new presidency
Fair, but a new administration could just decide to pull funding.
That's why Trump is moving the pieces
Revealing the hypocricy of dems supporting sanctuary cities by supporting them
Just harder than they did
The key is that Trump wins 2020
If that happens, chances are good
