But in Communism it was granted to them, houses and flats for free with free rent and electricity.

2017-07-22 22:23:58 UTC

and besides, Ukraine had Russia to lean on for 70 years, it's a big change

2017-07-22 22:24:11 UTC

but america is not a shithole before the 80 (70) years of communism

2017-07-22 22:24:57 UTC

You say free rent and electricity implying there was always working electricity.

2017-07-22 22:25:17 UTC

It's free for a reason. Handouts don't exist in the real world.

2017-07-22 22:25:47 UTC

Nobody works for the benefit of others. That's where the Soviet system collapses.

2017-07-22 22:26:12 UTC

You would be hard pressed to find a well off Soviet politician who didn't get there by stepping on others.

2017-07-22 22:26:18 UTC

when something is free it doesn't mean it works as you would expect

2017-07-22 22:26:26 UTC

I see. So if people live worse under nationalism is of to blame communism, I understood it correct?

2017-07-22 22:26:38 UTC

the challenge with providing free stuff to hundreds of millions of people should be quite obvious

2017-07-22 22:26:45 UTC

"free"

2017-07-22 22:26:47 UTC

Nationalism and communism are not opposites, or even in the same league.

2017-07-22 22:26:53 UTC

second worst word in the english dictionary

2017-07-22 22:27:10 UTC

the weird confusion between gratis and libre

2017-07-22 22:27:17 UTC

@carlton™ who to blame then?

2017-07-22 22:27:25 UTC

80 years of communism.

2017-07-22 22:27:29 UTC

well yes the faults have somewhat to do with the USSR

2017-07-22 22:27:54 UTC

@carlton™ why neighboring countries are doing better without nationalism?

2017-07-22 22:27:55 UTC

You can't just tell a country to switch to capitalism and expect everything to work out, especially when Ukraine was a part of the USSR and economically dependent on other Soviet republics.

2017-07-22 22:28:00 UTC

as I said before Ukraine relied on Russia for most things, all of the states did

2017-07-22 22:28:16 UTC

They also had communism, but not as much a shithole like Ukraine,

2017-07-22 22:28:16 UTC

Why do you use nationalism as an opposite to communism?

2017-07-22 22:28:22 UTC

The "free socialist states" were puppets

2017-07-22 22:28:59 UTC

Ukraine was closely tied to the Russian economy because it was the breadbasket of the USSR.

2017-07-22 22:29:13 UTC

It was naturally more dependent. When you take it away and make it its own country, it doesn't work out.

2017-07-22 22:29:14 UTC

You said there was no economy there

2017-07-22 22:29:15 UTC

I won't repeat myself again, Ukraine relied on the support from Russia

2017-07-22 22:29:20 UTC

Because of communism

2017-07-22 22:29:36 UTC

I never said there was no economy. I said there was a shitty economy.

2017-07-22 22:29:42 UTC

A shitty economy closely tied to Russia.

2017-07-22 22:29:50 UTC

Yet other countries been communist and doing better than nationalist Ukraine

2017-07-22 22:29:59 UTC

I JUST explained this.

2017-07-22 22:30:09 UTC

Ukraine was closely tied to the Russian economy because it was the breadbasket of the USSR.
It was naturally more dependent. When you take it away and make it its own country, it doesn't work out.

2017-07-22 22:30:45 UTC

Nationalism doesn't work out if countries are interdependent?

2017-07-22 22:30:54 UTC

Just like with the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. All of the states that resulted from that experienced some form of turmoil, nationalism, economic crisis, or any combination of those three.

2017-07-22 22:30:59 UTC

CAN U GOD DAMN NIGGERS SHUT THE FUCK UP

2017-07-22 22:31:36 UTC

Do you even know what nationalism is? You continue to use it as if it's the opposite of communism.

2017-07-22 22:31:49 UTC

Nationalism: Extreme love for one's country.
Communism: An economic policy.

2017-07-22 22:32:21 UTC

Ukrainian nationalism is just a symptom of the larger problem that a breakup of a large state brings, just as in Austria-Hungary.

2017-07-22 22:32:29 UTC

Is not a correct type of nationalism in Ukraine?

2017-07-22 22:33:00 UTC

I will not repeat myself a fourth time.
