If a 5th of your population isn’t a part of your ethnicity I don’t thing it’s legitimate to call it an ethno state

@Joywolf Having subjects of other races doesn't diminish that legally speaking it is an ethno-state in which citizenry is tied to ethnic.

It has to do with the rights these populations have, if citizenship is tied to ethnic background/composition then it is an ethno-state.

If defending Israel is the hill you want to die on, ok, but I couldn't care less about your deluded opinion. Doubt there's no other country which mirrors Israel's legal status in relation with its ethnic basis for the state, that bill is just a formalization of a principle in which Israel was founded. And that Israel is a colonizer state is factual, some ethnic link on a distant past does not make you a native to the land, having lived there continually until now does.

If you ask me, most people are helpless to fight the powers above them. Whether it's Israel or Palestine. I just believe people don't have enough control in their lives and the higher ups make more decisions on their behalf.
People only have part responsibility like apathy or association in some cases.
In case of the Israel and Palestine conflict, it's really complicated.
I can never come up to a proper conclusion.
I do strongly believe Israel has a right to exist. Also at the same time wish some settlement is done with Palestine. But then there is Hamas or some even blame Mossad of Israel. So it's really complicated, as I said before.

@Prometheus Sir, Israel has tried many, many times to settle with the Palestinians to no avail.

@Sheogorath Yes, I am aware. I know Hamas is a really a big problem. I just can't see how the problem can solved. Palestine is way too steeped in the hatred of Israel. Just how can we stop that? That's the issue, I can't see to get resolved peacefully.

At least that's what I think. Do give your thoughts more on the issue. I would love to know more.
