Does beef liver taste different than chicken livers?

2018-09-06 19:03:36 UTC

Because chicken livers are disgusting

2018-09-06 19:20:26 UTC

No, Chicken liver tastes fowl

2018-09-06 20:21:33 UTC

2018-09-06 21:00:47 UTC

2018-09-06 21:01:07 UTC

Don’t eat organ meat. You aren’t a ghoul

2018-09-07 00:39:55 UTC

🤔

2018-09-07 02:06:58 UTC

@ChippedStones
I was in the same boat.

I graduated bootcamp at 6'1" 145 lbs.

Guys like us simply have faster metabolisms. You'll need to eat more than the avg guy to have the surplus calories for your body to grow.

I'm around 190 lbs now, partially because i'm in my 30's with a slower metabolism, and partially because I make a concerted effort to eat enough to be the size I want to be.

@Tyler0317 I’ve upped up the game by having pancakes with peanut butter and peanuts every other morning. I’ve also been pounding weight gainer.

2018-09-07 02:27:24 UTC

Be warned on the weightgainer powders, to get the extra calories, they typically just add tons of sugar to the protein powder.

Check the nutrients on the side.

2018-09-07 02:28:40 UTC

I personally use unflavored Whey protein isolate purchased in bulk.
It comes in cheap plastic bags, and has no additives.

2018-09-07 02:29:13 UTC

I mix that with whole milk, to give it some taste and calories

2018-09-07 02:56:56 UTC

That's why I just eat meat and eggs.

2018-09-07 02:59:43 UTC

@Fox Good point.

Eggs are cheap.

I hard boil them to avoid the taste.

2018-09-07 03:12:06 UTC

I eat 4 scrambled every weekday morning. @Tyler0317

2018-09-07 15:51:56 UTC

@Caboose a person can eat 100% meat if they include organ meat into their diet. Organ meat is where the majority of micro nutrients are found.

2018-09-07 15:54:06 UTC

When I harvest a game animal, I take the majority of organs. The heart is eaten first with butter, mushrooms, and onions.

2018-09-07 16:40:12 UTC

I hope he was trolling, yeah.

2018-09-07 16:52:21 UTC

Organ meats are great.

2018-09-07 16:52:38 UTC

Extremely undervalued.

2018-09-08 02:32:00 UTC

@Caboose was that a King Of The Hill reference

2018-09-08 06:19:02 UTC

2018-09-10 03:13:49 UTC

nice

2018-09-20 09:38:05 UTC

I got a good deal on chicken, but I'm doing keto and it has barely any fat and I'm on keto. How do eat massive amounts of chicken without messing up my macros?

2018-09-20 15:43:44 UTC

I've had luck avoiding gluconeogenesis (protein being turned into sugar in the event of excess protein being in the body, pushing you out of keto) by keeping my protein at less try han 1g/lbs of bodyweight.

2018-09-20 15:44:59 UTC

Chicken is fine, just make sure you're hitting your fat and carb goals. Cover it in butter and salt or olive oil and salt for some fat and electrolytes

2018-09-20 15:45:09 UTC
2018-09-20 15:45:16 UTC

Less than*

2018-09-20 15:45:43 UTC

Also try going to bed before 3am. Haha

2018-09-20 15:46:17 UTC

That's another issue I've been wanting to fix

2018-09-20 15:46:37 UTC

But it looks like the chicken will be fine. Thanks.

2018-09-23 03:38:37 UTC

How long should I intermittently fast for?

2018-09-23 03:39:04 UTC

Is 8 hours enough? I could probably do less. Apparently some people do 12, lol. Isn't that just normal eating?
