Layers are also good. Like a white dress shirt under a sweater. Or, a cardigan in mild temperatures over a solid color t shirt
yeah I fvck with those dressy boots
Idk. I'm torn on ripped pants (no pun intended). I think that as far as IE goes, we want a refined and professional look. Ripped pants are intended to make you look tough/edgy, but the look comes across often as really shallow to where you look like you're trying too hard and are being a f-ggy poser.
depends
most look fkn gay
that guy in the pic actually doesnt look so bad
He can look the part a bit better
But most can't
Even muscular guys
t shirts look horrid on nonmuscular guys imo
I've recently become all too keen on noticing this
men just look 99% better, bigger
Looking good in t shirts all depend on the size
If you're non muscular, you can pull off a small t because it better hugs your body and makes you look a bit more filled out
pro tip
dont tuck it in like this
his waist just looks larger than probably really is
Also, don't make the bottom of your pants that high
And wear socks
I definitely fvck with these coats
Tool tuck is A-ok in my book. Also pants that are torn or dirty because you actually work.
Firehose pants from Duluth Trading company are awesome btw
Do they come with a dog?
Unfortunately no.
I wear jeans, but Levi sucks. In the last 10 years they stopped making them thick. I wear a pair out in about 2 months. But I get weird holes in my jeans from tool apron and tape measure.
These firehose pants seem to be holding up pretty well. I do a lot of crawling under equipment and I haven't torn them yet. They are a little bit warmer than jeans but they protect you better. Plus I like the pocket design. There's a good place for everything.
I wear 5.11 tactical cargo pants, olive green. Would definitely recommend!
The knees are holding up great. A few holes in the back pockets from tools.
I usually go to Goodwill or a thrift store to buy pants for work, I end getting paint or some other liquid on them, I cut them up from sliding wood across my lap or from a knife, nails and screws catch a rip them, and every now and then I need a rag and make one from pant legs or a shirt. I'm hard on jeans haha
@Der Seeteufel - SD :steals dog:
She threw up in my pickup today. I'm tempted to take you up on that. Lol @micbwilli
I bet you wouldn't. I bets she's absolutely fantastic. 🙂
Dickies are nice pants and durable. I always get the regular fit so they aren't too baggy. They go good with a pair of Adidas or NB's
I work in dickies and they hold up decently enough
So I think we sometimes underestimate the importance of image so I wanted to bring up a story from this mourning.....
I get up and quick shower and shave. I get my hair in the fashy style and toss on some cheap aviators. I got my summer shorts and a nice collared shirt.
As I'm walking into work I feel good. The sun is prefect and it's a real present walk. I got my head up and chest out. I'm looking right forward and walking at a good pace.
On the sidewalk I see another person. It's a chubby black guy in blue jean daisy dukes with earings. He's walking slow so I'm catching up to him. As I do he turns around. He then turns back and double takes at me. He stops and steps to the side of the sidewalk and I see his face.
His face turns from dull to absolute rage in a single second.
I smile and nod at him and keep walking on.
His face was a kind of "how dare you!". How dare shave myself clean. How dare I dress normal and classic. How dare I commit to keep my body in shape. How dare I smile as I walk. How dare I be confidently masculine. How dare I be content and positive. Didn't I get the memo? Didn't I know the time of the white male is over? Didn't I accept our fate?
Our style and attitude enrages them. It reminds them in no words that we are still present. It psychologically damages them.
Yeah bro I agree. Fashion and physical fitness are very powerful tools at our disposable. We are the ideological vanguard and as such we have a duty to maintain a clean cut, aesthetic image.
