I think that is just an optical illusion caused by his weird eyebrows and their cast shadow

It is relatively very thin on top and very bushy at the bottom so if you combine it with a light environment which allows for a strong dark shadow in his orbit you get the illusion that it fell off

And there are just slight asymmetries between the two eyebrows that you can see in all of his pictures

Top is thinner on his left eyebrow than on his right one

So myth busted

Look at how well lit his face is.

Part of it is an already low eyebrow

Why is that one spot going to be that dark?

Because that's how the planes of the head work

That's just a deep part of the orbit

It's not new information

The orbit casts a shadow on the eyes

It varies depending on the person - the fat pads in it, how prominent the brow bone is, et cetera, but it's a fairly constant thing in humans

Bushiness of the eyebrows themselves is also a factor

I just explained that the facts his eyebrow being more bushy on the bottom for him, is slightly asymmetrical with his right eyebrow, and there's a dark cast shadow below it all create that illusion, it's not that hard to grasp.
