IE spouses > everyone else

I am impressed with high school sweethearts who marry. But boy am I glad I did not marry my first serious GF (met in college)

2018-10-22 17:38:38 UTC

It's crazy I've seen guys breakup with great GFs over trivialities and I tell them they have no idea how good they had it. Now they're all sad, lonely, and voting Democrat. Sad! Many such cases!

2018-10-22 17:39:01 UTC

@ThisIsChris They are low IQ lightweights

2018-10-22 17:40:15 UTC

High school sweetheart was very cute and smart but mentally fugged so sadly had to break up, now she's blue haired and posting on social media all the time about bashing the fash

2018-10-22 17:41:10 UTC

People who break up over little things likely have had easy lives and are not equipped for the real difficulties of marriage anyway

2018-10-22 17:41:11 UTC

@Ald Same, minus the blue hair.

2018-10-22 17:41:30 UTC

@Nemets interesting Q. Is there a standard way "enthusiasm" is measured?

2018-10-22 17:42:08 UTC

I assume pollsters ask "do you intend to vote". But I don't know if a yes from a Dem carries equal weight to yes from an R

2018-10-22 17:43:04 UTC

@missliterallywho Did you guys move? I thought you were over there in Mexico del Norte...

2018-10-22 17:43:38 UTC

They moved out of Northern Mexico...

2018-10-22 17:43:51 UTC

I heard couples that live together pre marriage are less likely to stay together. Which SEEMS counterintuitive. Until youbrealize it is a correlation. Religious folks are less likely to cohabitation and also less likely to divorce.

2018-10-22 17:43:58 UTC

@Asatru Artist - MD Very nice, very nice...

2018-10-22 17:44:08 UTC

@Bjorn - MD we moved to NW Montana last week!

2018-10-22 17:44:11 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN I'd believe it.

2018-10-22 17:44:24 UTC

Many correlations like that have a different causal link yeah

2018-10-22 17:44:25 UTC

@Nemets one thing that's always hard about close midterms and pres elections is that you really need the district-by-district breakdown

2018-10-22 17:44:47 UTC

@missliterallywho Nice. Congrats! Yeah, I'm currently going back and forth between heading back up to New England, or making my way to the Northwest...

2018-10-22 17:44:50 UTC

If Dems in NYC are mobilized but Dems in Ohio are not, then the mobilization doesn't matter

2018-10-22 17:45:02 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN I will be that exception. My wife and I lived together for years before we got married, and we are going on 11 years married and 16+ together.

2018-10-22 17:45:13 UTC

Or vice-versa a la Roy Moore

2018-10-22 17:45:20 UTC

@Bjorn - MD I'm biased but it's pretty much an ethnostate up here so...

2018-10-22 17:45:38 UTC

@missliterallywho Lol. *sigh*

2018-10-22 17:45:40 UTC

One thing I've noticed about couples who have been together 30, 40, 50 years is they still love each other. It's not just a dry partnership but true love

2018-10-22 17:45:59 UTC

@DairyMaxx and his gf will be joining us in a few months too

2018-10-22 17:46:05 UTC

@Asatru Artist - MD Congrats! I was not trying to degrade cohabitation in general. Just commenting on first relationships. I lived with a GF and am glad because a marriage would not have worked.

2018-10-22 17:46:16 UTC

Yeah, I know. 😃

2018-10-22 17:46:47 UTC

I think cohabitation is good because you really have to "live" together.

2018-10-22 17:46:52 UTC

It's not all roses and candy.

2018-10-22 17:47:25 UTC

@Nemets Voting age 30 when?

2018-10-22 17:47:53 UTC

Voting age whatever the White average age is when?

2018-10-22 17:47:56 UTC

@Nemets yes. Are youth diffused? Are they at college? Are those colleges where they're at in swing districts?

2018-10-22 17:48:18 UTC

My gf goes to a different Identitarian organization.

2018-10-22 17:48:41 UTC

@DeusVolk Bad optics GF? <:nervous:359009898115104770>

2018-10-22 17:48:46 UTC

Trying to squeeze out what I can by armchair reasoning... College towns tend to be leftist already. I don't know if college towns are really swing districts we are worried about losing

2018-10-22 17:48:48 UTC

She's too fashy for here

2018-10-22 17:48:53 UTC

Probably haven't heard of her

2018-10-22 17:49:09 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN I think something after college would be a great voting age for sure. These commie children need to understand what they are voting for (like less money in their own families pocket, etc)

2018-10-22 17:49:38 UTC

Tfw used to be bad optics wignat gf
Tfw probably still am in private
💁

2018-10-22 17:50:14 UTC

@Asatru Artist - MD A starship troopers voting thing would be good. Two years military or four years AmeriCorps (non military service, disaster relief and conservation etc)
