Towns, villages, that's okay, but the endless concrete jungle thing hurts my soul.
I think a lot of it is how you're raised as well. There's something I really like about that, and I do confess I also have a moderately leftist upbringing so those lefty romanticisms of city life and night life still kind of resonate with me @sigruna14
Yeah I grew up on land and in the woods.
So for me it feel like a prison.
I hate cities with a true passion.
I'm with Siggy...
I've heard the argument that cities would be nice if they were white. I just don't like the population density, diversity aside.
My ideal life would be like a little English village. A town, with people, shops, thing to do within walking distance - but also fields and forests equally within walking distance.
@sigruna14 Unfortunately, the area I live in is just barely rural. So, there's just enough sprawl that it takes a while to walk anywhere
I’d like that for a vacation home or something. That’s why I like old fashioned shore towns. Small old style neighborhoods with a central commercial area towards the center with woodlands and wetlands surrounding it
I mean I *can* walk to the grocery store, but it's not preferable
@Nemets Are there any cities in America which you would define as designed for people and not cars?
Cities used to be a safe, good place to raise a family...and then something changed.
I don't care I want open spaces
I would never live in a city long term, even if it was white
Suburbia is even more soulless though. Small towns ftw
Everyone knows deep down that this is the ideal 😏
Tfw will never campaign
@Bjorn - MD American spergs don't realize how far gone Toronto is. A gal-pal of Loony Loomer would be a VAST improvement over anything Toronto has had in decades. Same old story. People forsaking the good because it's not perfect.

The issue with Goldy is that she knew she wasn't going to win. If you're going to run as a protest vote candidate, you should advance important ideas, not talk about tailgating and potholes. An example of this is David Duke. I have a lot of issues with him, but his run for Senate in Louisiana made drug testing welfare recipients and eliminating affirmative action mainstream republican positions
@TMatthews Good point. I haven't been following Goldy's campaign closely. Mayor of Toronto can't affect Provincial or Federal immigration policy, as I understand it.
Maybe disrupt some sanctuary city type shenanigans.
But to really rattle the cages you need to be a Premier (their version of a governor). There are only 13 Premiers, and they're not equal in scope or power (Ontario, BC, and Quebec are the most powerful, followed by Alberta)
It was an odd thing to run for. I feel like she'd have done better running for Parliament and focusing on being anti-Trudeau immigration policies
One thing a Mayor can do is not get impeached. Remember Rob Ford, crack smoking, woman-shoving mayor?
A right wing mayor could shitpost all day on the city dime.
Doug Ford, late Rob's brother is now the Premeir of Ontario.
I miss "this Hour has 88 Minutes" It's tough to get redpilled Canada news now
Leafistan is a lost cause. We should just let it turn into South Africa and give the white leafs refugee status
Canada seems almost as cucked as Britain. I think part of it is that progressivism is a part of their identity. It's a way to show they're not just Americans a bit to the north
@NateDahl76 I think it's better to just stay altogether away from that meme.
It's a shame we lost the War of 1812
Alrighty, makes sense
I wonder if IE would include Canada if they had free speech
Canada has an identitarian organization
Which was formed well after IE
I’m saying it would be tough, not worth the hassle. Not impossible
One of the main reasons for the seperation is the different laws
