Palestine

2018-08-06 11:52:29 UTC

No palestine *at all*

2018-08-06 11:52:34 UTC

No Israel

2018-08-06 11:53:09 UTC

This is the issue

if one side wiped out the other to create a single state

but there's been decades to do that

2018-08-06 11:54:08 UTC

That's what'll work

2018-08-06 11:54:43 UTC

But then the world would hate the winner

2018-08-06 11:55:35 UTC

Can't bomb jews

2018-08-06 12:00:08 UTC

Thing is, Israel is actively working towards one state solution with their settlements, despite allegedly being opposed to it.

2018-08-06 12:03:08 UTC

At some point, the west bank will be so full of Israeli roads, walls and settlements, that the palestinians will basically be 2nd grade citizens in the state of Israel

2018-08-06 12:03:09 UTC

Israel is not a person

2018-08-06 12:03:25 UTC

Some are opposed to 2 states, some are not

2018-08-06 12:03:41 UTC

Israel is a state of superjews

2018-08-06 12:03:50 UTC

well, yeah. I'm talking about the current goverment

2018-08-06 12:04:23 UTC

They definitely don't want 2 states

2018-08-06 12:04:40 UTC

There are still people in power who do

2018-08-06 12:04:42 UTC

but they don't want one either

2018-08-06 12:05:09 UTC

Most of the right wingers openly say they do

2018-08-06 12:05:44 UTC

Not sure what can be done with those millions new citizens after though

2018-08-06 12:05:45 UTC

Really? As in, they are in favor of merging with palestine and granting them Israeli citizenship?

2018-08-06 12:06:28 UTC

At least some say exactly that

2018-08-06 12:06:29 UTC

Surely lots of people are concerned about demographics

2018-08-06 12:07:08 UTC

Wouldn't that mean they recognize palestine as a state?

2018-08-06 12:07:37 UTC

I mean, at this point one state the only viable solution, I'm just surprised the right wing would agree with it.

2018-08-06 12:08:32 UTC

@Mips No. It's the exact opposite of that

2018-08-06 12:09:19 UTC

I mean a merger in business requires 2 companies

2018-08-06 12:10:34 UTC

Palestine and Israel aren't companies

2018-08-06 12:11:05 UTC

They are a country and a half

2018-08-06 12:11:21 UTC

It's something between merger and colonization. The British didn't exactly ask the locals if they want to be part of the British empire.

2018-08-06 12:12:22 UTC

**Alt4Loot#8506** was cleansed from the server.

2018-08-06 12:12:29 UTC

Yeah. Basically taking the Palestinian territories is the complete opposite of recognizing the Palestinian authority

2018-08-06 12:14:06 UTC

The Romans did something like that too, in the early times. They'd beat an opponent and sometimes they'd give them full citizenship afterwards.

Ok this video was made by "The Jewish Home party", which is one of the big parties on the right, and they are currently in the government too. The video is from 2012 so I'm not sure how much has changed, but they propose a plan called "the partial annexation plan". In short they say they want to annex areas in the west bank with little Palestinian population (they say 48,000 Palestinians) and give all of them full citizenship, and let the rest be independent of Israel (though without a state of their own)

2018-08-06 12:22:53 UTC

This was usually the case with their neighbors, who were usually the same race and same culture, so it did make sense, despite the times.

2018-08-06 12:24:18 UTC

looks like a salami method to me

OUT OUT OUT

2018-08-06 12:41:48 UTC

Hmm?

2018-08-06 12:49:05 UTC

how does one refute the blind resume arguement?
