There's this one TV show in Spain about a secret service that "solves" problems whenever a timeline might get distorted and it leaves some great imagery.

The episodes tend to work like this:
路 Timeline is about to get distorted OR rival secret service is actually trying to fuck up history
路 They go to the place/time
路 Shit goes down
路 They go back to modern times, sometimes bringing back "clones" of famous people
The protagonists are 16th century Flanders soldier, 19th century scholar girl and 21st century paramedic.

路 Felipe II gets mad after the Spanish Armada is defeated by the Brits and tries to change A LOT of history.

路 META STUFF - In 1966, some cheesy TV show follows the structure of the secret time-travelling service. I've never seen a TV show with a meta self-parodying episode as its season finale.
I once read that other countries were considering recreating the show for their own audiences.
Italy, France and the UK could probably have some amazing versions if they tried.
