Was comfy

@Hakujin - CA Leftist bullshit from a corrupt county

2018-11-09 02:30:38 UTC

>recount in Broward County
<:really:453005408064241674>

2018-11-09 02:30:42 UTC

@Hakujin - CA MN is a BIG if. They are blacking it faster than Trump is waking it

@Hakujin - CA Maybe Trump could flip Washington if he finds a way to benefit the economy in Eastern Washington. There's absolutely zero chance King County is going to flip any time soon, but maybe a viable strategy could make the red counties *more* red. I could also see Whitman County, the light blue one in the East flipping.

A story in 2 parts

2018-11-09 02:31:31 UTC

ya Spokane is pretty nice

2018-11-09 02:31:39 UTC

it's so dumb when Seattle people call Spokane trashy

2018-11-09 02:32:00 UTC

because Seattle has exactly the same problems Spokane does, but 10 times worse

2018-11-09 02:33:02 UTC

How does Brenda Snipes still have her job? She needs to be indicted.

2018-11-09 02:33:18 UTC

@ophiuchus Isn't it scary seeing the dogma come out in people who you otherwise respect? It's like they're being possesed. I recently had a friend argue "but isn't America based on immigrants?".

Oh, I'm supposed to let my children get raped South Africa style because America is based on immigrants?

2018-11-09 02:33:59 UTC

America was built on conquest. We are standing against a different conquest

2018-11-09 02:34:08 UTC

@Wood-Ape - OK/MN Furthermore the people of Minnesota just elected Tim Walz for governor.

2018-11-09 02:34:22 UTC

Guest on Hannity just now:
"The conduct of Brenda Snipes is beginning to stink like a bucket of fish in the sun"

2018-11-09 02:34:33 UTC

Haha. So true.

2018-11-09 02:34:35 UTC

@Hakujin - CA Oregon might be more flippable. Looks like it's just Portland holding it back.

2018-11-09 02:35:18 UTC

@Jacob The governor election was surprisingly close in Oregon.

2018-11-09 02:35:54 UTC

These maps show that cities should be [impossible bad optics wignat idea]

2018-11-09 02:35:56 UTC

You have to remember that the state Republican parties in blue states are a lot more moderate than the national Republican party, though

2018-11-09 02:36:07 UTC

Washington also elects Republicans on the state level

2018-11-09 02:36:26 UTC

I don't know if me moving to such a deep red state like Idaho is such a good idea. How about a swing state like New Hampshire?

2018-11-09 02:36:57 UTC

I just pulled that out of thin air. Literally any swing state that isn't ridden with problems.

2018-11-09 02:37:21 UTC

I mean it depends what you're trying to do

2018-11-09 02:37:34 UTC

Idaho sounds nice, but, if your goal is to influence elections, a swing state would be best

2018-11-09 02:37:48 UTC

Washington voted 52 for Clinton to 36 for Trump

2018-11-09 02:37:53 UTC

It's gonna take quite a bit to flip

2018-11-09 02:38:44 UTC

My goal would be to influence elections. As long as I can find a job there. I'm still in college.

2018-11-09 02:39:00 UTC

Your individual presence will make no difference in elections

2018-11-09 02:39:10 UTC

1,742,718 votes for Clinton to 1,221,747 votes for Trump

2018-11-09 02:39:19 UTC

@Ald not with that attitude

2018-11-09 02:39:45 UTC

Relying on your presence alone is low energy

2018-11-09 02:39:46 UTC

I mean nothing is decided by one vote

2018-11-09 02:40:01 UTC

Is Illinois just blue because of Cook county?

2018-11-09 02:40:02 UTC

Gotta work for a campaign

2018-11-09 02:40:07 UTC

right

2018-11-09 02:41:05 UTC

@Ald Very true. But if all California conservatives moved out before their state collapses and moves to a swing state with the purpose of countering the liberal California poisoning, it could be quite effective. Countering includes not only voting, but also working for campaigns.

2018-11-09 02:41:46 UTC

@Jacob yeah, it really is. It’s like watching a switch turn on in their heads and they go from conscious actor to NPC servo

2018-11-09 02:42:08 UTC

Logan started canvassing for Rosendale the day we moved here

2018-11-09 02:42:19 UTC

4,270,270-1,742,718-1,221,747 = 1,305,805 registered voters who simply didn't vote in 2016 in Washington. If we convinced half of registered voters in Washington who simply didn't vote to go out and vote for Trump, we would flip Washington.

Maybe what we should do is hold voter registration drives in white working class areas. @Hakujin - CA
