if my mom's dad was still alive, he'd be the unquestioned patriarch. He was the first of his family line to move from farming to white collar jobs, and he took the Old South, Old White money and multiplied it immensely through his job. Absolutely sucks that the cancer took him far too early, I never got to know him on the level that I now wish I had.
Tfw no patriarch in family
Tfw family is individualistic and non-communicative

@DeusVolk become who you are
@DeusVolk time to become the patriarch
We all long for the America that once was
On it. About to wrangle these Dem-Boomers
Will post progress pics
Sam and I have the benefit of living in Dixie where the Patriarchy is considered noble and not evil.. at least not yet
Patriarchy is the way of the South. Long live Dixie!
Gender roles are apparent in my community and people like it like that
Religion is the basis I think
My grandfather was born in 1910. Had 7 kids and had his own oil company where his wife kept the books. Everyone in the town knew him, and he knew everyone. Definitely the patriarch. I would love to be the man like that
Sounds like quite the man
Now men are goofy and dumb and women make the wise choices don’t you watch tv?
My great grandfather started Pickett Slide rules. Made a ton of money that then corrupted the family for a generation.
Rise and decline.
Wealth without values...
Divorce has rektd my family since like 1900
Trad values>errthang
Dang. That is when divorce rates were low too
Yea at some point they went from wealthy to share croppers because of it from what I’ve studied
Gender equality was in the cotton fields
Men and women working together for the first time and my family members couldn’t resist
I say equality.. I mean they worked together
My great grandma used to tell me the story of falling in love with my step ggrandfather in the cotton fields and leaving my biological ggpa who passed away before I was born
