I actually looked it up and "corporatocracy" is the word you guys are looking for. I've seen a few people on here make this mistake.

Perhaps my former lefty was showing. "Corporatism" is the term used to refer to Rule by Corporations in lefty circles.

What's interesting is that Scandinavia actually has a corporatist system, and lefties seem to like them

@Jacob corporatism works well when it jiives with the nation & the people. basically when its totalitarian - when the nation: the people, religion, social structure, cultural structure, etc. all work as one. I think this is because corporatism is one of the highest forms of business abstraction a group of people can attain. As a result as long as the result of the subservient components are in line & working together, corporatism works very smoothly.

I used to donate plasma but I would only get 35$ for the trouble, 2-3 hours and massive fatigue. I'd then drop 20 of that 35 at a restaurant to refuel and relieve my fatigue. Very Sisyphus

Foodstamps do not apply to students

A couple people I know are resorting to donating though and its sad to see them so poorly off

@Sam Anderson Depends, if you became a student through a work program of some sort then you can actually still be a student while you receive food stamps. At least where I am.

@fgtveassassin I donated plasma for a few months last year. It didn't pay much, but I had some free time every week to do it a few times a month. I was just trying to scrape up some extra money for a trip. There's no shame in it.
