hey, the left wants more social workers and stuff like that... we could have more... but instead of replacing the police, we just have them vetting couples or individuals who want to adopt. more jobs, more adoptions, less kids in adoption hell.
lmao deregulate adoption
They make good parents but when it comes to the child's mental health it is proven that kids with a mom and a dad are less likely to commit suicide
is that "kids with a mom and a dad instead of a single parent" or "kids with a mom and a dad instead of a dad and a dad or a mom and a mom" ?
I think one way to encourage adoption is if more companies included adoption benefits like they do maternity leave. I read some stats about that at one point and it's a low cost thing for companies to offer because most won't ever use it while for those that do, it allows more people to adopt by covering the fees.
because I feel like its probably the first one. if you have a source for it, please, change my mind (:
I like that David, thats a good idea.
i've started adopting the attitude of "less social workers = better society" after i learnt that socialism/communism uses social workers to disrupt relationships and overburden more bureaucracy/wasting money
you know what, that might be true. doesnt seem implausible. ill give you that one... and I have seen some bad shit before in that regard. but idk. im not sure if thats really the majority of what they do.
What I'm talking about is even if someone is a lgptq+ parent the kid needs a father figure or a motherly figure in their life
And it's not just those kids everyone needs parent like figures
that's a good idea that companies could try out
well, one way to cut down costs/regulations is cutting down bureaucracy. so if we ever reach a point where anybody cares to reform foster system, i suspect whoever spearhead the initiative to go through all the admins fluffs and started cutting down levels whose responsibilities overlapped with each other
I hate bureaucracy.
also, not to dampen people's mood, the modern trend is smaller households, and less kids are being born or exist at all in the family, so i think there will be less adoptions overall in the future?
This is why I like our community everyone is up for discussion even is we slightly disagree
tell me about it <:KEK:726877368601411624> democracy dies in bureaucracy
Once a job is created in government, it's almost impossible to get rid of. Just look at USPS and why they are so far in debt and it's not the cost to ship.
goddamn it. stop shaming usps. they're essential service to our election integrity!
This is what sets us apart, and what makes this a actually nice place to be. Keep defying those stereotypes leftists label us as. Truth is truth.
@isoboto I don't really think so... many kids are being privately adopted everyday... because its actually more affordable
really? i hope so. the trend nowaday is "no marriage, independent people". so i was a bit worried
another trend is "dont have kids because they are bad for the environment and cause global warming REEEEE"
fuckin leftists...
I wish virtue signaling leftist would domestically adopt rather than internationally. It's still a good thing that they are adopting these kids, but there are so many in our country that need a parent you don't have to look to Africa or Asia to find a child in need.
Why just Christians??? You realize don't you that many of us oppose abortion and are not Christians, right??
^ true
but I think he meant more along the lines about what Christians believe, their morals, and what the bible s ays
thats why they need to be rready to adopt.
lollllll i was going through John Ward's old video and stumbled upon a gem where a mother was telling her followers not to have babies anymore and encourage abortion......with her daughter sitting right next to her
fuck I think ive seen that one before, or a similar one.... its actually even more sad that theres enough to get them mixed up.......
the two ladies that look high af, right 😂
There is still a biological factor to want to raise the next generation. Eventually many of these people will discover what is missing in their life but by that point biology may say it's to late. However with our longer life spans, adoption is still viable because if you treat your body well you can still have a number of good years left.
what leftist isnt high on something? if its not drugs, its a horse. (get it, high horse?)
Well Christians get rejected by the system a lot so I'm just saying that the people that have been rejected are going to prepare
that was a bad pun but i approve
>:D
I think the Christian point is also to contrast Islam where Muhammad outlawed adoption. However, I don't intend to side track this conversation down that.
that's fair. although consumerism will tell you, you need to buy more stuffs and need more "cheat days", not adopt kids and find a purpose in life
what the fuck? really? I did not know that, wtf??
Hmmm interesting
