Thats a nice dog. What breed?

2020-09-04 02:13:45 UTC

She's a Yellow Lab and German Shepherd mix

Sunbeams, a cats natural weakness

so cute

2020-09-04 06:00:16 UTC

How do I discipline my kitten? The little fucker tried to get into his treats after he knocked them down

2020-09-04 06:00:53 UTC

I looked it up and hitting, spraying, shaking, pretty much anything is a no no and I'm lost

2020-09-04 06:01:45 UTC

He's not a bad kitten he just doesnt know what to do, I've only had him a week and a half and I dont want to make him feel unwanted

2020-09-04 06:02:34 UTC

Use a spray bottle of water on fine stream. Or a squirt gun. Problem solved πŸ‘

2020-09-04 06:03:00 UTC

I flick mine on the ears hard. No damage, but they don't like it.

Birds

Spray bottle with water is effective. Chasing kitten around and soaking them is also effective for repeat offenses back to back. Just remember to offer affection when they come up to apologize. Animals don't, typically, hold grudges and are confused when we humans do.

2020-09-04 06:11:14 UTC

The spray bottle didn't work for me because nothing teaches a kitten a lesson like ruining a motherboard.

2020-09-04 06:11:50 UTC

Proper aiming technique seems to be the issue there. Operator error πŸ˜‚

I was thinking the same lol

2020-09-04 06:12:17 UTC

Never point the muzzle at something you dont want sprayed

2020-09-04 06:13:22 UTC

I was sort of surrounded by electronics at the time.

2020-09-04 06:13:39 UTC

But an ear flick works fine.

2020-09-04 06:13:57 UTC

Well thank you, I'll try that.

Imposing your size on the kitten is also effective in establishing that you are to be listened to. Cats attempt to make themselves seem larger to warn off undesirable behavior

2020-09-04 06:14:10 UTC

He drives me crazy sometimes

2020-09-04 06:14:42 UTC

Dogs are what we wish we were. Cats are what we actually are

2020-09-04 06:15:11 UTC

As in, cats are assholes πŸ˜‚

2020-09-04 06:15:21 UTC

My dog is functionally retarded. My cats are defective.

2020-09-04 06:16:14 UTC

My dog is 175# thinking hes a cat. My cats are 6# of thinking they are the dog

I've found that "stupid" or "retarded" dogs are usually playing dumb so you'll stop or just give in

2020-09-04 06:17:31 UTC

My dog was raised with cats, and thinks she *is* one. She's a fixed female German Shepherd that will try to hump female cats if they are in heat.

2020-09-04 06:18:05 UTC

My dog is normal

2020-09-04 06:18:27 UTC

Compared to some of these descriptions

My last dog was a psychotic Basset Hound. She was heavily abused as a pup before I adopted her, and was never right in the head.

I knew a rotty raised by a German shepard. Hunted like a shepard too. Only made noise to warn grandma something was up. But when things got real he got quiet and "took care" of whatever the problem was

2020-09-04 06:20:08 UTC

That is a floof @Theranger

2020-09-04 06:25:26 UTC

Last cat I had before this one was an oddball. He was legit the best cat ever born. He was kind, gentle, listened, loving, chill, and trained. He never did anything bad, and he was always a joy to be around. RIP Cotton

Floof reminded me of this one

Would you look at that cats TAIL!! πŸ˜‚
