Yep. I'm here because Tyler mentioned it yesterday.
*goes back to lurking*
*delurks* Anything not earned is often not appreciated. Also: "Those who crave power are the ones that should never have it".
*Relurks*
*delurks* I'm a bit of an anarchist. There should be term limits with a death sentence at the end. It would weed out the ones who just wanted to screw things up.
It would keep a swamp from forming, and you would get people in office that would work hard to get things done with their limited time.
*shrugs* Just a thought.
I know a lot of conservatives that would give their lives for the country, but how many leftists would?
Politicians, I mean. No disrespect to service members.
...I self-identify as a ghost in the machine.
*relurks*
*delurks* @Asphalt Dragon What about a kilt?
*bagpipes intensify*
*relurks, laughing*
*delurks* If you don't believe in something you'll fall for anything...
*relurks*
I just brought this boy home from getting fixed. Swirl couldn't hack it outside with the farm toms.
*delurks* Nazis II: Democrat Boogaloo?
*delurks* Fat Man or Little Boy.
Big badda boom.
*relurks*
*delurks* South Dakotans call them mud boots or barnstompers.
...At least, locally.
I'm a rational anarchist.
I believe most laws could be heavily simplified and/or done away with, although there have to be some just to keep chaos at bay.
See, I'm more a "respect is earned" sort. You get a certain amount for existing; what you do affects whether you gain or lose it.
You're talking manners. There's nothing wrong with politeness; it's the lubricant that makes society tolerable.
But a moronic yammerhead screaming their opinions in my face on the street gets nada either way.
It's past 1 AM here, and my dog needs out one last time. I look forward to conversing with you again sometime.
*relurks*
*delurks* The easiest example of how masks work is through physics. Take a spray bottle, your hand, and a piece of paper. Hold the bottle against your hand, with the paper two feet away. That's you wearing a mask.
Then do it again, with your hand and paper two feet away from the bottle. That's someone wearing a mask if you cough on them.
My personal hobbyhorse, drunk driving, kills more. I don't see cars being outlawed.
^
Viruses mutate. But just for sake of argument, say this one doesn't. The only way it'll be "over" is if there's a 100% effective vaccine that every human on Earth takes, or everyone on Earth catches it.
Gotta go change my fish tank. They're *slightly* more intelligent than liberal Democrats.
*relurks*
*delurks* I dunno...White birch, white pine...could be racist! LOL
History? They don't even teach *handwriting* anymore.
*relurks*
*delurks* Nice to see you, Tyler. Please keep up the great work.
*relurks*
*delurks* You also don't need credit cards if you learn to live within your means.
I'm an old fart. I've been married twice, own my own home and property, and I've never had a credit card.
Just me now. And a dog. And a buttload of cats. LOL
I live in the country. Mostly farm cats, but the defective ones end up being housecats.
*relurks*
Chiana (dog) and Jane.
*delurks* Why the obsession with testicles? I mean...that's kinda nuts.
*relurks*
*delurks*
I never read To Kill a Mockingbird in school. I was homeschooled past fifth grade.
As for Imajica...Decent enough book, but I sort of stole the name for a character of my own.
Rushmore is at the far end of the state from me. It's funny how the media is making a big deal over it, but locally no one gives two shi...a crap.
LOL I do.
...But yeah, not many people.
Oh, I love it being sparsely populated. My nearest "neighbor" is over a mile away.
Six miles to the nearest small town, Gas, groceries, basic essentials.
But most of the stuff that is sadly affecting the nation doesn't touch us, at least not directly.
Sioux Falls had BLM riots one night, (in a state with less than 2% black population), but locally it wasn't even a thing.
Nice talking to you folks. Back later.
*relurks*
*delurks* Melania 2024?
*relurks*
*delurks* Marooned on a desert traffic island...
We had to cut our trees back on the property line a few years ago because a drunk flew down our road, crossed the ditch, and obliterated the right side of his car against our tree.
I think a median wouldn't have even slowed him down.
*relurks*
*delurks* It's the old "Misguided, not evil" argument. The thing is, misguided people do terrible things at a high cost as much as evil people. Being stupid doesn't justify their actions.
Does it matter if someone murders another person because they enjoy it, ot because the space hamsters told them to? The victim is still dead.
The motive may change the punishment, but the crime is the same.
Believing abortion is a "right" doesn't take away the fact that they're killing a living creature.
*relurks*
> he was preserved in the frozen tundra ...recently thawed incorrectly which is why his brain is mush
@Deleted User Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer?
*delurks* Run while you still can.
Don't sell her short, Arkelo. At least she's a good listener.
It's usually more active in here.
I'm just a placeholder for more interesting people.
Well, you're welcome here, @The KiTT . These are (mostly) good folks.
...Case in point.
Trust me, none of the aliens I've talked to would *touch* Scientology. LOL
Just remember: A girl has no name, but she *does* have a hammer.
Her name is Nameless.
Okay, the big kids are back, my work here is done...
*relurks*
*delurks* I never could get into Fallout. I suck at FPS.
I play a lot of survival horror, RPG, and strategy games.
And online, Elvenar, Kingdom of Loathing, and The Kittens Game. LOL
"Having outed himself as quite possibly the *goofiest* gamer nerd online, Imajica felt the others silently judging him... " LOL
I have a kitten "helping" me type.
Yep.
I've known a few.
LOL Crabbies?
Lobstrosities?
I'd be Cthulhu.
Gonna go, go BIG.
Tiny the one-eyed tabby kitten.
Posted a pic of my helper in Animals.
Mitochondria....Parasite Eve for August?
...It was an obscure reference, nevermind.
