I see
whats the big announcement has it been said yet
Just figured out how to check and it requires iOS 10.0 and my mom’s iPad cannot get above 9.13 I think, so I guess I’ll just have it on mine and that’s it.
im awaiting it, im sure it will be epic

Get rekt, bitch.
trump might just make a new social media or start the process to limit twitter power, what they did is crazy even thee president of mexico agrees
He said he was gonna make his own platform
Might
if he does i can say that more than a million people will join but if has a platform he must allow all speech even leftist
Their 230 immunity should have been stripped a long time ago too
@Pal3Rid3r not sure what your access were like in USMC but in USAF almost everyone barring some prerequisite DQs starts with a secret clearance. but you're not wrong about the folder
Not all of Section 230 is bad. If someone using a platform says something crazy, the platform shouldn't be liable for that. However, Section 230 does have a statement that allows for censorship in "good faith" which needs to be removed.
There is also the option someone brought up of having SCOTUS interpret Section 230 in a way favorable to those who oppose censorship.
My first two years was in Security Forces. Needed the clearance for the work we did. Lost it after I left that post.
I can’t access Parler.
That would require SCOTUS to listen to anything the right has to say.
The issue is that when a ToS is not applied evenly or consistently, then it becomes implied endorsement when they allow things such as China bragging about sterilizing Uygher women
It’s been getting an overload of traffic. That might be why.
Whelp
many people are switching parler so thats why you cant join
If they are going to go down the strict censorship route, then fine, but they need to lose the immunity from lawsuits for what appears on their sites. That no longer is a platform, which 230 protects, but a publishing entity. Big Tech has crossed that line. I generally agree with the concept of 230, but they no longer deserve it
Big Tech has never been a publishing entity they are a private platform with their own agenda
Yeah that's why I said "platform" in my statement. If you act as a publisher you do not deserve the protections of a platform.
so whats new ?
I’m scared this Discord gonna get yeeted 😦
I disagree with Trump wanting to remove it entirely. It needs to be revised not removed. Startup companies such as Rumble, Parler, Bitchute and others need protection while they are small. There needs to be a clause that says something to the effect of "removing or limiting content that is not a crime or in violation of laws removes your role as a social media platform and in turn makes you a Publisher which shall be held to those new standards and your protection under Section 230 can never be replaced"
GUYS

Yeah, I’m agreeing with you, lol
I wasn't implying that you weren't
I wasn’t implying that you were implying that I wasn’t 😂
yea, we knew yesterday the Italian government was in on it. the scary part is it was done with the assistance of the U.S. Embassy of the IC. I'm not sure if it was in the plan to give them the A OK to essentially hang themselves or are our IC personnel there in the Embassy in on the coup?
the affidavit was delivered to D.C. on the 6th. was our rally part of a distraction to allow that documentation to get delivered safely?
I heard before that they actually got the affidavit on Christmas Eve but I could be wrong
Nah, screw Section 230. Break the Internet.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.
