what theory....
k
@米饭和面条 Wait Factcheck.org said that? Normally they just lie like demos
let's move it here guys
lol
@isoboto Response to your thing in election discussions. I know, that's stupid that they can.
Hell, I'm not even a regular Christian. I don't denominate myself to a specific type of christianity like Evangelic or Baptist
Not a catholic either
I'm a non-denominational Christian
meaning I just simply follow the bible, have a relationship with God, and stay faithfully by his side
@kendikane88 also ngl, didn't take u for religious...
Well you posted something earlier in Election-Discussion
replying to me
and I was like "Wait you're religious"
infact I didn't think anyone here was religious
1 sec
> that is a lie of the devil! That is the first trick he used on eve to get her to sin in the first place. He said “that’s not what God really said, is it?” Meaning that if she ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge she would die. He twisted Gods words and convinced eve to sin. It is incredible how he keeps using that same tactic and it keeps working. Look into things for yourself. Don’t just believe things because you think a careful mind is a skeptical one. The Bible asks us to believe some fantastic things. So it is easier sometimes to not believe it than to read it for yourself and gain true understanding.
that
You don't have to take everything literally
That's how we know
I kill bugs all the time anyways
I just use NKJV and KJV and NASB
Sounds about right
The book can be flawed....but like..damn how do I put this into words
The amount of flawness in the book at the very least is very very little, because it didn't just have one guy translate the whole thing
It had alot of translators, and supervisers for those translators
As far as I know
> I never understood the “FEAR GOD.” Nonsense. God is all loving, so why should I fear someone who loves me? He made me, correct? He knows who I am, how I think and what I feel. So I have no fear of God, I only return the love that is given to me.
@TheSynical1 Like a Dad
Like a Father
What does a Father do?
When a child throws a tantrum
He disciplines the child, but he doesn't want to
He does it anyways because that is his job as a Father
and after
He shows his love to the child
when the Child comes back to him
It's not that kind of Fear
let me put it to you this way
If you stray away from God
He's not gonna continue protecting you
or well
Gimme a sec to phrase this right
When you stay by God's side, he says that he will protect you, but when you begin to stray away and not make him your top priority, what does he do? Nothing. So if you start to do some bad things, unless you ask for his help, he's just gonna let what can happen, happen to you
Always put God first, because he will take care of you
God will never stop loving his children, he will always do his best to protect them
He will always try to help
but when we refuse
it
He's not gonna force us to come to him....and he's just gonna let things play out
in hopes that you'll return to him on your own
something like that
The thing about The Bible and God is that it goes for really deep
You can't just understand it in one day
hell, I'm still taking time to understanding it but I still have my full faith in him
Nothing anyone can say or do will take that away from me
I've seen him work his miracles on my family.
^
No God is perfect, but he purposely made us flawed.
oh
right
this is what I get for talking about stuff with no brain power levft
I'd watch Arcadeius's video
What the Bible says is, there is no interpretations meant to be on the Bible.
If he made us Perfect that'd be a pretty lame and boring life if you ask me.
It wouldn't be a great creation
> @isoboto AND if you think about it on a deeper level God exists outside of the confines of time. So I’m his eyes everything that is going to happen has already happened. So basically we are living in the greatest story ever told and He has already written it.
@kendikane88 True that, God exists in a different dimesion
> @isoboto
>
> Exactly. If you go from church to church, each Preachers feelings will differ, even if just slightly
@TheSynical1 Preachers...that's why you need to trust in the bible and God
lol
That sounds grea
Taken up into heaven from the rapture?
Hell yea!
LETS GO
xD
A Catholic only follows certain parts of the bibles, and I dunno why.
But
a true Christian would follow everything of the Bible
and trust that Jesus would guide us to what is right, and help us understand
That's what we do.
> @ARCADEIUS educate me! i like talking about christianity and religions. especially the "saving" process
@isoboto The saving process?
I can tell you plenty...
My dad was discharged in the military in early 2010, for medical reasons. They never gave his retirement and we had no where to go. We spent the next 6.5 months at my Grandparents who lived in Montana. And while I was a kid at the time, we were having stuff going on, at first was mild. We moved to Great Falls MT in 2011, and then in 2012 moved to Idaho...
And in short alot of crap went down in Idaho. A whole bunch of stuff that I can't quite get into for certain reasons, 1 being I don't know the whole story.
But for awhile we were going to this 24/7 Church, and one night. A Man, nobody knew him, NOBODY, we didn't know him. He came to my Dad, and I think asked to talk to him.
That man did some of the weirdest things we'd never seen before. He told my Dad, that he was gonna have my Dad spin around three times. Basically what he was doing was unravelling all of the bad stuff to let the good stuff come in. Out with the old, and in with the new. He told my Dad that in two weeks he was gonna get an EMAIL talking about an overseas Job.
At first my Dad didn't believe him...guess what happened? Two weeks later, he gets an email from Dubai...At first my Dad thought it was spam, but they somehow had found his old linkedin profile WITH extremely outdated resumes, and sent him an email through there. Finally Dad opened it...and it was legit. My mom and dad were just so flabbergasted they couldn't believed it.
We never saw that guy...ever again.
We spent the next several months preparing to go there. We moved to Dubai, and spend a wonderful 4 years there.
You know what else? When we were in Idaho we were really struggling, we had a house over our heads and were able to get food but still.
Going to food banks isn't fun. and I'm sure plenty of people in the poor/poverty knows that as well. But God blessed us, we moved to Dubai, and my Dad was making 10K usd per month. (Rich compared to the US and NOT Dubai tho)
Well either way Synical, I pray that God will keep you to the right path, and help you in your time of need.
Note: Being that dirt poor and then spending the next four years going to expensive delicious restaurants only having to spend the next three years not being able to do that anymore really does something.
Like dude, I got spoiled in Dubai
alot
What?
No
as a Christian it is my job to pray, it doesn't matter if you don't need it lol
> @Book
>
> I mean fair enough, but those prayers could be spent on someone who need them more. I appreciate the sentiment though, and may you be blessed as well, but don’t fret over me 😉
@TheSynical1 Everyone needs prayers man
> @Book absolutely. i think living through poverty ingrained something in you -- a habit you couldn't get rid of and this imminent feeling of things are not forever
@isoboto I wasn't that bad don't get me wrong, there were plenty of people worse. But it was pretty bad.. and when you're going to REAL 5 star restuarants next year and then to never be able to do that kind of again...makes it hard to revert to a normal lifestyle.
I've gotten somewhat used to it though, cause I don't need those things to be happy
infact, I hate being near one
just because
for some reaosn
my memories want to align the Dollar Tree with being poor
erm brain
