I thought Christmas is a family thing unless you have a long term relationship

my family clearly does Christmas differently

I mean I've done Christmas with my friend's family but that's only because they're really close friends

I can honestly say _I_ haven't done it

but that'd also require me to bring a woman, and I wouldn't do that because I know my family would drive her nuts with questions

I actually just found out yet another guy I went to high school with is getting married

I can only remember seeing one or two people I went to HS with getting married

but since I don't speak to any of them... I don't care

oh I only speak to one guy from high school but I always end up hearing about it or seeing on social media

also I only spent two years in high school

I spent seven years dealing with these people
and truthfully I'd be nervous about being at a party with them

I can't imagine my showing up and telling all of them, "my god you people haven't changed a bit" would go over well
