@realz - great idea, thanks

2020-11-10 16:23:09 UTC

and if they failed to get rid of bad ballots, that would be direct evidence

2020-11-10 16:23:33 UTC

@RobertGrulerEsq could AOC or Washington Post's Jennifer Rubin be held accountable in any way for trying to incite civil unrest for comments that they have been making about keeping lists of Trump supporter names and calling for them to be essentially blacklisted?

2020-11-10 16:24:38 UTC

um about that video, he calls it ballot harvesting, but that is not what ballot harvesting is

2020-11-10 16:24:44 UTC

Ya you would have evidence that all these ballots shouldnt have mad it through but i think people would have an issues if you just started invalidating ballots just because "it seems fishy"

2020-11-10 16:25:05 UTC

you may or may not be able to invalidate it

2020-11-10 16:25:17 UTC

the courts will agree with you that something fraudulent is happening

2020-11-10 16:25:22 UTC

the question is what is the remedy

2020-11-10 16:25:29 UTC

the answer might be a recount,

2020-11-10 16:25:42 UTC

but if not a recount, you could do the house thing

2020-11-10 16:25:56 UTC

there are several things the house can do to invalidate entire states or just pick the president directly

2020-11-10 16:26:07 UTC

if you can convince every state delegation that fraud was happening

2020-11-10 16:26:08 UTC

Would a possible remedy be "any vote received after 11:59:59 of Nov. 3rd will not count"?

2020-11-10 16:26:20 UTC

that isn't the type of fraud he is talking about

2020-11-10 16:26:42 UTC

that isn't fraud at all; that is just dependent on court decisions made and to come

2020-11-10 16:27:46 UTC

One would have to prove which votes were received after that time, so they would have had to have them already seperated

2020-11-10 16:27:56 UTC

@Elias Diaz in the extreme case you can have the house pick the president, which is crazy. And they vote by state delegation, which means republicans win (but I assume you'd have to _really_ convince them to do something this drastic)

2020-11-10 16:28:22 UTC

@Bill Givens at least in some jurisdictions they were told to separate them

2020-11-10 16:28:47 UTC

(otherwise there may not be an easy remedy, aside for a recount or taking it to the house)

2020-11-10 16:28:59 UTC

the house is also allowed to invalidate entire states

2020-11-10 16:29:06 UTC

I just know if the situation was switched, i would be pretty upset if when Trump won that the court or house decided. It would be more evidence that everyone is against trump

2020-11-10 16:29:29 UTC

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

2020-11-10 16:29:38 UTC

sure people gonna be upset either way

2020-11-10 16:30:00 UTC

just laying out the possibilities discussed on R&R and Frei (Barnes)

2020-11-10 16:30:38 UTC

@realz - I was unaware that the house could invalidate entire states. I don't think it would ever happen without an order from the Supreme Court.

2020-11-10 16:31:01 UTC

tldr if there is a remedy, the court might remedy. Otherwise it can recount. Otherwise, the house can veto states (by state delegation, which republicans win). Otherwise the house can just pick the president. The last two options are why proof and publicity matters.

2020-11-10 16:31:27 UTC

@Bill Givens depends; if you have such stark proof that it convinced every republican in the house ....

2020-11-10 16:31:38 UTC

`The last two options are why proof and publicity matters.`

2020-11-10 16:32:36 UTC

yes also underlining that the house votes on this stuff is by state delegation, which republicans win

2020-11-10 16:33:19 UTC

basically we can hope that if there was fraud that there are tons of accounting firms combing through the data

2020-11-10 16:33:29 UTC

and they'd find major major evidence

2020-11-10 16:33:44 UTC

the DOJ can then investigate individuals

2020-11-10 16:34:02 UTC

it is very hard to cover this sort of thing up

2020-11-10 16:35:14 UTC

(just give 4chan access to the raw data :P)

2020-11-10 16:35:15 UTC

@realz if "major major evidence" is not found and the election flips back to Trump, I foresee a lot of rioting starting again

2020-11-10 16:35:31 UTC

if the election flips back to trump full stop 😛

2020-11-10 16:35:43 UTC

but the other side is also scary

2020-11-10 16:35:44 UTC

hahaha

2020-11-10 16:36:03 UTC

there are 70 million or so people completely convinced here is fraud and threatening all sorts of hell in youtube comments

2020-11-10 16:36:09 UTC

and if they are wrong and being fooled?

2020-11-10 16:36:24 UTC

well I always said the right has a protest and riot deficit /s
