I just don’t understand these people at all. How many people said there would never be peace in the Middle East. The media couldn’t even try and praise trump for the peace deals

2020-11-26 02:09:47 UTC

but are they senators who have some form of power to weild

2020-11-26 02:10:11 UTC

Who are the fact checkers more to the point? Because they should all be fired. Immediately.

2020-11-26 02:10:26 UTC

No I mean the only meaty part of the Russia thing was that trump took 100s of millions of dollars from Russian oligarchs when no American bank would lend to him. This was close to the time he started making rumblings to run for president. So it would be nice to know if he paid off those personal debts to Russia. @realz this wasn’t about real estate debt on a spreadsheet. It was actual cash

2020-11-26 02:10:31 UTC

regardless, Legal Eagle got a lot of factual things wrong on the tax filings, both regarding the filings, and both regarding the law/finance

2020-11-26 02:10:33 UTC

It's not just private contractors who manufacture military hardware, but even oil distributors like Chevron had a big stake in Iraq.

2020-11-26 02:10:41 UTC

> @realz the whole point of the tax returns was to see his debts and to whom

@Lady Georgia, you just advanced to level 3!

2020-11-26 02:11:00 UTC

That’s the major concern of living in a post-truth world though. Everyone and everything has a spin and always has, but never before has the individual had such power to alter reality. I could make a deep fake tomorrow of Trump admitting everything was secure and fine and to cancel the investigations and it would be largely indistinguishable from a real un-altered video.

2020-11-26 02:11:00 UTC

@Brian!, you just advanced to level 1!

2020-11-26 02:11:13 UTC

mmmk, well I guess that is reasonable to ask for.

2020-11-26 02:11:19 UTC

did he not have that bank acount well before he was president and he closed it when he needed to

2020-11-26 02:11:35 UTC

> did he not have that bank acount well before he was president and he closed it when he needed to
@CriMiN4L
Yes lol

2020-11-26 02:11:42 UTC

It's in the vid.

2020-11-26 02:11:42 UTC

but if that request was in good faith, fine, but I don't think that is what they would fixate on when it would be missing

it was open from 13 to 15 I think he said it in one of these cross-asked questions they always ask him (the bank account)

2020-11-26 02:12:09 UTC

based on his treatment in the media, I don't blame trump for demurring as long as he could get away with it

2020-11-26 02:12:09 UTC

The point is anything can be made to sound bad

2020-11-26 02:12:16 UTC

It's funny with how the RussiaGate thing that everyone in the media wanted to deflect blame onto foreign intervention, and no one wanted to take accountability for essentially disenfranchising people in the rust-belt states and most of middle America. More people voted for Trump in 2016 because he was the only unorthodox option to Clinton

2020-11-26 02:12:18 UTC

so its not a smoking gun

2020-11-26 02:12:18 UTC

I’m no expert on the Middle East, far from it to be honest, but I think oil has a huge part in the war machine

2020-11-26 02:12:18 UTC

Wrong criminal.wrong. Whole world conquered someone sometime.

2020-11-26 02:12:51 UTC

@realz that’s why to me hiding the tax returns was such a suspicious thing and lying about the audit. He was already president and didnt need the media. Not to mention he claimed to be β€œthe most transparent president ever”

2020-11-26 02:13:01 UTC

He is a global businessman. I am sure he had bank accts in almost every country where he was doing business.

2020-11-26 02:13:06 UTC

> The point is anything can be made to sound bad
@Lady Georgia I think this is largely true and a huge developing issue related to media and technology.

2020-11-26 02:13:08 UTC

the eskimos conquered who then

2020-11-26 02:13:22 UTC

The election literally hasn't happened yet. Why would he concede anything based on the projections of his enemies? Till Dec 14 I don't expect anything, even if he knows he's lost

2020-11-26 02:13:28 UTC

it was and still is, there are maps that have been leaked with U.S gas companies' names covering marked oil fields in Iraq and Syria

2020-11-26 02:13:54 UTC

To be fair its always β€˜the most’ β€˜the best’ when he’s describing anything

2020-11-26 02:14:19 UTC

^^^ His style of speech is extremely hyperbolic lol

2020-11-26 02:14:38 UTC

he did need the media; he basically lost because of them as they and big tech are the biggest influencers in the USA.

But yes obviously that claim of `the most transparent president ever` is obviously lying, but also obvious hyperbole. if you take Trump that literally you would have lost your sanity on Nov 4 2016, like all youtube videos of crazy people

2020-11-26 02:14:46 UTC

@realz nah I think negative media reactions were the last thing on his mind. Taking that much money from Russia as a debt , knowing if it was paid off is pretty important to American citizens

2020-11-26 02:14:59 UTC

transparent in the sense he didn't speak with a filter, there were no too sides to him, sometimes being bad at lying is good

2020-11-26 02:15:10 UTC

Eskimos conquered the igloo next door.😏

2020-11-26 02:15:10 UTC

trump wont conced

2020-11-26 02:15:10 UTC

@Killroy, you just advanced to level 1!

2020-11-26 02:15:30 UTC

He was tangibly in terms of financial openness the least transparent

2020-11-26 02:15:48 UTC

I agree it is important. But from a purely tactical point of view, I think him delaying was a win. (for his approval ratings)
