It truly is but mixing in alternativ media into it makes it harder not easier do distinguish what the underlying facts really are.
there are some outlets like unherd.com or spike or spectator or some others that have different biases and provide worthwhile PoVs and generally don't claim to be reporting news
But still, we are not having too few opinions, we are having problems establishing the underlying facts.
I'm not sure if that's the case but generally I don't have much confidence in any reporting that the reporter clearly has a side on - and that allows to navigate *some* facts and the reality is that I don't have the illusion to have access to a significant share of the "important" stuff that is happening in the world
yep and I don't think this will be solved within my lifetime
creating some actual reporting network that is mainly factual and funded by the common person is an interesting thought experiment - but I don't think it's economically viable
If you see the attempts made it does not look good.
@Olle, you just advanced to level 3!
do you have something in mind that would meet that description? @Olle
I don't see any viable paths to break into the current news landscape with just the readers/watchers sustaining it
I have seen a couple attempt on patreon but it's really really hard to make that a sustainable model.
I don't even see a path to pitch it without being deservedly laughed at
@nachik based on what Rudy was saying at the AZ hearing yesterday it looks like the team is petitioning the legislators in the states with glaring issues to exercise their power to appoint electors (that would favor the trump campaign). In the closing statements at least one legislator from AZ said she was ready to do so pending a conversation with Ellis as she had legal questions that need addressed prior to taking that leap.
I don't know if there's a way to de-certify and push a contingent election but if there is I'm sure they're pursuing it.
that one legislator out of 90 is ready to blatantly violate the state constitution is not really a cause for concern
It's not agaisnt the AZ constitution for the legislature to appoint any elector but it is unconstitutional for that elector to vote agaisnt the AZ constituents.
Not really considering we've had faithless electors before.
When you vote you're just basically telling your electors who you want them to vote for.
@Adam135 scotus ruled in 2020 that states can pass legislation requiring electors to vote in line with the popular vote
They can, but the state legislature still has the final say. Neither the governor, the state secretary nor the state AG is the recognized body.
They might even be able to push hard for contingency given how short their time is conduct an investigation and how uncooperative the AG and law enforcement with looking into the issues brought up further
Yesterday's Hearing was a Political Exercise and not a Legal one.
'hearing' lmao
@Zuluzeit. Not my Words!
Lol I know. I just think it is good to point it out when I see it. I've seen many people who think that was something other than a press conference recitation.
Hotel Conference would be my choice.
Hahaha
They set it up in the form of some kind of official proceeding and that worked on precisely the people they knew it would.
The Cornel kept mentioning “my white hats”. Websters Dictionary: : a hacker who tests computer systems for possible vulnerabilities so that they can be fixed
Chu, 33, is part of a fraternity known as "penetration testers" or "ethical hackers," a group of experts who are hired to hack into computer systems or find other ways to gain access. These so-called "white hats" will spend days or weeks searching company systems to come up with recommendations for fortifying corporations against such threats.

Impressive testimony reaffirms we absolutely CANT trust our election system. When I popped my ballot into the computer, I asked my wife and the attending poll worker, “what just happened to my vote? Where did it go? Little did I think it went to Frankfurt, Germany. Maybe it’s been put into the Russian/German pipeline and was diverted to Russia in a sludge oil flow.
Absence of Enforcement of a Law is only a suggestion....
Then their testimonies should be cross-examined, the state should bring in its own expert witnesses to explain what happened.
Thanks. Was trying to type that out.
Until they do however, their side still remains the more convincing
the side of the people that testified I mean,
I was originally pretty skeptical about the electronic voting machines, but now I say there's enough cause for concern NOT TO CONCLUDE THERE WAS FRAUD, but enough to warrant a forensic analysis of the machines themselves
lol I detect sarcasm later in the post
The fact that some of the machines have been wiped in GA is already concerning
You doubt computer manipulation of ballots/votes. I don’t
I agree. Concerning. As a protocol data should be stored for a longer period.
