I believe he's a traditional liberal, as he's stated numerous times, and he has the political policy preference to reflect that.

2020-12-04 22:51:30 UTC

He's even very forthcoming about his own bias, something most pundits can't seem to do.

2020-12-04 22:51:57 UTC

Remember, the political axis is filled with multiple layers.

2020-12-04 22:52:05 UTC

No. The left has clearly shifted further left

2020-12-04 22:52:07 UTC

@TaLoN132 yeah he had but he still seems to attempt to have consistency of outrage

2020-12-04 22:52:10 UTC

Yeah, it doesn't just pivot one way or the other

2020-12-04 22:52:24 UTC

These people stayed where they are

2020-12-04 22:52:37 UTC

@Maw I believe he is a grifter that sees a goldmine of loyal trump fans looking for a home

2020-12-04 22:52:37 UTC

@james j You're literally describing being partisan.

2020-12-04 22:52:55 UTC

The current political spectrum goes beyond two dimensional...

2020-12-04 22:52:57 UTC

While claiming not to be @Maw

2020-12-04 22:53:19 UTC

He hasn't claimed to be unbiased, pretty sure. He's claimed that he's trying to be unbiased before.

2020-12-04 22:53:49 UTC

Hence, why he invites people of different opinions on his show

2020-12-04 22:54:02 UTC

@Adam135 well show where he goes after the right with the same intensity and force he goes after the left. Like in the example of media bias

2020-12-04 22:54:08 UTC

Something who "caters to a right-wing base" doesn't do that.

2020-12-04 22:54:25 UTC

He pretty well explains his "woke" experince though Greenwald does so more elegantly.

2020-12-04 22:54:35 UTC

@Adam135 that’s only recently . Have you seen his show over the past 4 years. It’s mainly people he agrees with.

2020-12-04 22:54:42 UTC

when some people were demanding that Trump declare martial law, he was very outspoken against it.

2020-12-04 22:54:45 UTC

And two or three people @Adam135

2020-12-04 22:55:04 UTC

@james j Most people refused to go onto the show with him. lol If you actually have watched his videos.

2020-12-04 22:55:12 UTC

Again after Trump lost the election @Adam135

2020-12-04 22:55:36 UTC

@Maw im sure people did not want to go

2020-12-04 22:55:41 UTC

Lots.

2020-12-04 22:55:43 UTC

Or, traditional liberals are now realizing the truth.

2020-12-04 22:55:53 UTC

You guys are blind

2020-12-04 22:56:09 UTC
2020-12-04 22:56:10 UTC

I'm pretty sure @james j is showing us what a grifter is by acting like one.

2020-12-04 22:56:17 UTC

Good one

2020-12-04 22:56:20 UTC

i.e a snake oil hustler

2020-12-04 22:56:24 UTC

Adam, chill with the personal attacks please.

2020-12-04 22:56:37 UTC

Maybe you guys will learn about slants and balanced outrage one day

2020-12-04 22:56:44 UTC

Until then enjoy being fooled

2020-12-04 22:56:53 UTC

@james j No, I call that being partisan.

2020-12-04 22:56:57 UTC

Both sides do it.

2020-12-04 22:57:06 UTC

I literally complain about it all the time.

2020-12-04 22:57:06 UTC

@Maw while claiming not to be

2020-12-04 22:57:19 UTC

Again for the thousandth time

2020-12-04 22:57:22 UTC

My granddad always used to say> "be careful with any man claiming the truth. He will try to sell you something before the crow has crashed."

2020-12-04 22:57:48 UTC

@james j You don't watch his videos, my dude.

2020-12-04 22:57:57 UTC

I personally seek out independent thinkers. It's what drew me to Robert's live stream. I have listened to a ton of Joe Rogan and there has been a shift (admittedly, I may have exaggerated with a couple of unnecessary ways). I don't blame him, I am pro capitalism, but the shows are way different. He is always accommodating to his guests and polite. He's a unique interviewer - gets people to say stuff a be themselves. I like it. I just noticed a shift over time. Ben Shapiro's cut from the same cloth as Tucker Carlson, in my opinion. They purely cater to their audiences.

2020-12-04 22:58:36 UTC

He even claims he has his bias but tries to be as unbiased as possible, and that everyone should look the things that he brings up for themselves, quite frequently might I add.
