On that, I'll have to disagree with you. I have never bought into the idea that asking for valid gov't issued ID is voter suppression either.

2020-12-08 02:25:58 UTC

Do you think anything substantial will happen before Dec 14? Do you think anything substantial can happen after Dec 14?

2020-12-08 02:26:00 UTC

Did I or did I not argue that they told them they were DONE? This entire fucking time?

Because she was guaranteed by the ‘voter fraud organization’

2020-12-08 02:26:18 UTC

Honestly I feel like Trump coming back past that point will do more damage than anything a Biden presidency will do.

2020-12-08 02:26:25 UTC

Stolen or not.

2020-12-08 02:26:35 UTC

@jfindley no that is just the gop rules I am stating. It’s been this was for a 100 years. Should have brought it up sometime before like maybe 2016

2020-12-08 02:27:10 UTC

What would you suggest instead of signature variation?

2020-12-08 02:27:10 UTC

@jbird, you just advanced to level 1!

2020-12-08 02:27:11 UTC

And I have asserted this entire time that so far I have seen no admission of that claim. They ALSO claimed that they were told to leave... clearly they were dishonest about that...

just sad

2020-12-08 02:27:18 UTC

The drop@dead date is when they cast the electoral votes in congress Jan 8

2020-12-08 02:27:31 UTC

@ShortCircuit what does a govt ID have to do with signatures . I’m saying signatures are more of a disqualification tool for people with bad handwriting than actually catching any fraud

2020-12-08 02:28:06 UTC

I agree with you, unless they can actually show and prove and establish true voter fraud on a massive scale, as they have claimed. If they cannot, and there is still a question of whether it happened when this is all over with, neither side of the aisle is going to be ok with the outcome for any reason it may have come to that.

2020-12-08 02:28:37 UTC

Right, right. It's a matter of American Symbolism more than anything.

2020-12-08 02:29:16 UTC

If Trump fails to Symbolically win the presidency, he'll never be seen as legitimate by a large swathe of people.

2020-12-08 02:29:16 UTC

I really hate the idea of my taxes going up to 60+%... but maybe we get lucky and that doesn't happen?...

2020-12-08 02:29:19 UTC

Signatures would work, but so would some form of unique identifier (kinda like a 'suggested password') or we could actually go with fingerprint recognition like the security on phones nowadays.

2020-12-08 02:29:29 UTC

@jbird a paid for id by the government that everyone is given every four years , block chain. Although the only downside is that people will raise issues like the government shouldn’t have my information or something

2020-12-08 02:29:38 UTC

If we're honest, he's already gone 4 years like that... lol

2020-12-08 02:29:39 UTC

Then it's a matter of the GA runoff going towards Republicans or not.

2020-12-08 02:30:12 UTC

Government issued ID (Driver's Licenses, State ID, Passports) have photo and signatures on them.

2020-12-08 02:30:12 UTC

Yea, I agree.... I hate that it comes down to something like that. I'm glad I don't live in GA... lol

2020-12-08 02:30:20 UTC

Yes fingerprints should be private.

2020-12-08 02:30:30 UTC

Right. But they can shove it because Trump still symbolically won.

2020-12-08 02:30:44 UTC

Indeed!

2020-12-08 02:31:02 UTC

@Cali La La thats scrap paper with a 33 number . On it

2020-12-08 02:31:04 UTC

Id wouldn't work for mail in.

2020-12-08 02:31:08 UTC

Dude, I've never seen somebody intentionally avoid a word so hard.

2020-12-08 02:31:57 UTC

Mail in should never have been allowed. Traditional absentee I can support, but not mass mail in.

2020-12-08 02:32:18 UTC

@jbird so really there is no solution, republicans want ids but they don’t want the government to have their information , GA actually asks for ids and a address etc. mail in voting by they way they did a study only has 0.0025 instances of voter fraud. We have 7 states in the union that vote exclusively by mail

2020-12-08 02:32:25 UTC

@ShortCircuit it’s the same exact thing

2020-12-08 02:32:28 UTC

Not necessarily... Things can get weird, sometimes. https://constitutioncenter.org/blog/the-day-abraham-lincoln-was-elected-president

Also, @Recalibar, I don't think potential damage is all that important at this particular moment. Trump is not an ideal candidate by any stretch of the imagination, whereas Biden is a proxy for the Chinese Communist Party, and belongs in prison.

Any step we take from this point further is yet another blow to liberty, though the degree in which that blow is felt varies based on who wins the election. Trump being the lesser blow, and Biden being the likely fatal blow.

2020-12-08 02:33:21 UTC

Sammy should cite where he is getting that dialogue instead of just asserting it

2020-12-08 02:33:41 UTC

The bottom line, @DrSammyD is that so far several of their claims have been established as false. Nothing in the only investigative report suggests that they were told it was done.

To say "Well, the report might say that they were not told to leave but it doesnt say that an employee didn't say they were finished" is not evidence.

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. So just because the report does not specifically address that does not mean its an admission.

Additionally, the report did say:
"They simply left on their own when they saw one group of workers, whose job was only to open envelopes and who had completed that task, aisles leave.”

Do you think that maybe one of the employees that had "completed their task" (the ones opening envelopes) did say they were done?

It could be that they asked one of the employees opening the envelopes if they were done for the the and the employee honestly and correctly answered "Yes. We are done opening the envelopes for the night."

2020-12-08 02:33:56 UTC

I have to show ID just to buy a pack of cigarettes. I have never had a problem showing ID when necessary. It's the ones that claim getting an ID is too hard/difficult that's an excuse I can't buy.

2020-12-08 02:34:00 UTC

Now, my money is on Biden not getting his electors. Because it's already looking like there was significant fraud and *If I were a legislator* the last thing I would like to do right now is be honest about my intentions of going "against the """"will of the people""""" Because any legislator right now would be subjected to *nuclear bombardment* from the media/BLM/ANTIFA etc if they even suggested doing something other than sending Biden electors.

2020-12-08 02:34:42 UTC

Imagine the media *setting their hair on fire* and BLM setting cities on fire if they heard a whiff of it.

2020-12-08 02:34:50 UTC

No they were told they were done counting for the night via phone call I thnk you even see one get the call then they told everyone else hey we done. Then later secretary called manager whom called poll worker said keep working so they kept working. That's the story.

2020-12-08 02:34:50 UTC

@HappyHappyHappy, you just advanced to level 4!

2020-12-08 02:35:05 UTC

I've done mail in for several years. It's a convenience. But I'd do awaybwith that to have a fair election.
