Marriage originated in Genesis and is a religious union between two parties. State licensed marriages are a contract between two people and the government, composed of three parties.

Disappearing to catch up on life with someone.

Having the government as a party in the marriage gives the gov't authority in the marriage and all that derives from it, including any offspring. This is what gives them the authority to take children from parents and raise them as they see fit.

@ImNotGas lol have you ever heard someone say the government should do __________ and then ask them to explain how to coordinate everything needed to make a pencil?

2020-12-01 03:44:56 UTC

@Turd Ferguson, you just advanced to level 2!

2020-12-01 03:45:55 UTC

Q. *What is an elephant?* A. A mouse, designed by commitee and built to gov't specifications.

2020-12-01 03:46:35 UTC

@Turd Ferguson i like how everyone says we should do x because sweden does it

2020-12-01 03:47:00 UTC

like... brazil does the same thing, and our version is going to be closer to brazils than swedens

2020-12-01 03:50:08 UTC

Many people do not realize that the Swedish model is the nation is, economically, capitalist and distribution is socialist. They tend to leave out the economic part of the "equation"

2020-12-01 03:55:39 UTC

we should handle covid like sweden does.

2020-12-01 03:56:23 UTC

everything else, let's do what Singapore does.

2020-12-01 04:00:53 UTC

Speaking of covid, earlier today I found that the overall death rate in the USA for 2020 (so far) has either not changed or has gone down in comparison to 2019, 2018, etc. This is from the CDC, who has since, removed the stats from its website. One would expect a drastic uptick in deaths from all causes if covid was such a significant cause of death as is being pushed. Makes one wonder what the truth behind the "pandemic" really is.

2020-12-01 04:02:19 UTC

@Turd Ferguson you know singapore is a model of a fascist nation but people tend to ignore that

2020-12-01 04:02:38 UTC

in the actual definition of fascism not the "everything i dont like is fascism"

2020-12-01 04:05:02 UTC

Hmmm... a thought... ever wonder why there is a fasces on the reverse of the Roosevelt dime?

2020-12-01 04:06:10 UTC

fasces on the lincoln memorial?

2020-12-01 04:07:56 UTC

wait wasnt roosevelt president before fascism was created?

2020-12-01 04:08:12 UTC

my bad, the Mercury dime...

as a symbol it just represents state authority

2020-12-01 04:11:52 UTC

FDR definitely not. Teddy, somewhere around then (give or take) probably.

2020-12-01 04:46:44 UTC

about 360k excess deaths (above average) since Feb 1st of this year only about 270k of which attributed to Covid, data still accessible from CDC website https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/excess_deaths.htm#dashboard

2020-12-01 04:47:07 UTC

so.. basically exactly as much as predicted

2020-12-01 04:47:17 UTC

250k~1m

2020-12-01 04:56:42 UTC

@ImNotGas Um, no. Fascism was developed by Giovani Gentile (1875 to 1944) and picked by my Mussolini (1883 to 1945). Roosevelt (1882 to 1945) was aware of it, and practiced many of its approaches as a means of preventing the global Marxist revolution in the US. One of the reasons the Dept. of Ag. is so generously set was because rural America, then most of the population, had started pushing for a communist revolution just prior to his inauguration.

Well, night all.

2020-12-01 06:13:30 UTC

Exactly how it feels to join Parler and listen to Newsmax...like everything is going underground. 2020 has been most bizarre in so many, different ways!

2020-12-01 12:52:44 UTC

Maybe inappropriate. But am i the only one who has lost all appetite and desire to do anything previously thought of as fun after being locked in for months?

Ive always had recluse's tendencies. But nowadays it's all just like a dark cloud hanging overhead. Consuming all other thought.

2020-12-01 12:58:24 UTC

The grass is always greener on the other side I guess

2020-12-01 13:33:22 UTC

@andrasol product of perception and perceived purpose. I prefer the world in lockdown.

Hey out there, this is DeaneStir. It’s a first for me, watched last night and got some inside info on Trump Teams court filings and the legal flow via courts. GOOD STUF!

2020-12-01 14:52:26 UTC

Yes 😢 I was just thinking this last night

2020-12-01 15:11:54 UTC

> you can still get married in a church without a license though cant you?
@ImNotGas
It's legit a crime to purport to marry without a licensed celebrant in at least one state here in Aus.
I'm all for the abolition of government oversight of marriage, and the publicised availability of suitable business partnership registrations instead.

Just started the MI hearing. I’m hoping they don’t use Benfords law as evidence it’s very weak evidence in this case. BL works well when you’re analyzing data that spans multiple orders of magnitude. So 10, 100, 1000, 10000. In MI most of the counties are in 10^3 range so that’s why there’s a huge spike in 3-4 range. BL doesn’t work if you’re analyzing data with if the same order of magnitude. That claim is very weak and can be easily dismissed .
