most people have bent back wrists while they lift
my friend does, makes me cringe
Bone doesn't keep up with muscles
he'll snap it one day
benching and squats bent back wrists are insanely common
and snappings
The snappening
Snap city
should have told your friend to cut it out
or got him some wrist wraps
He wasn't lifting heavy
how much was he lifting?
I bet it was bench somehow
It was just the strain and micro fractures I guess
I don't know I wasn't with him.
He just said he was surprised it happened
was it on bench? I saw it happen to some black guy at my gym lel
He wasn't lifting heavy and it ended up snapping.
he was like AGH suddenly pinned
That's gross
>spotters
not many people use them at a certain point, I used to lift at a powerlifting gym for competitors
with no changing room
I guess wrist is better than throwing out your back tho
people just keep an eye on each other
Slipped disks. Or spinal fractures.
it's a shame personal training is such a racket
people need mandatory form training
but with PT training taking about 3 weeks and every other PT being an absolute joke with horrible form themselves
They need to maintain form too. People compensate a lot without realizing it when they push weights.
well yeah that comes from putting too much on the bar
too fast
that's just a rookie mistake
Which PTs are guilty of I see a lot.
yeah because becoming a PT is the easiest thing ever
the exit exams are a joke
I wouldn't know.
how long were you lifting before you quit?
I got to the 2 year mark and entered snap city
Not that long. Like a year.
I had problems with stamina and poor gains that left me in frustration.
