@Jacob I didn’t specify fast food, but you’re right. What you aren’t factoring in is the cost of time. When you’re going between two underpaying jobs you don’t have the hour or move to prepare a good meal on a consistent basis. Some luxuries have to be taken into account. Also the psychological de-motivation of being poor.
