Morning fellas
@Jakob-NY "living with his parents [basement?] in the home he grew up in" <:really:453005408064241674>
This Wikipedia guy is pathetic.
Now they’re attacking my favorite books / movies
Lmao
Lol pretty sure every leftie alive believes some people are just worse than others
They think Whites are worse than others but hey, can't be racist against Whites right? <:usinnoodle:420778112226164736> <:thinkplant:359034245777457173>
"But we don’t have a single problem facing us where we are not going to need a lot of science, and a lot of knowledge, and a lot of expertise to help us think our way around." -Andy Duncan, anti-rascist LOTR fanfic author
He's not going to like what science has to say
Amazon Tolkien series will have black Gondoran / white elf maiden couple , calling it
Gay dwarves too
Or just straight up black elves
Both! 🏳️🌈 🇮🇱
Yaaas
🇫
We're thinking of doing family LOTR costumes for Halloween this year
Aragorn and Arwen with a baby hobbit
Or Mulder and Scully with a baby alien
Can't decide yet
Ayylmao
It depends how much oversight Christopher Tolkien has. He’s relinquished a lot of the main management powers of his fathers estate, but he still has most of the creative power. I’m skeptical of how willing he’ll be to let them do that to his fathers work, which in turn has become his life’s work
Chris Tolkien is 94
After he dies who would the creative power go to?
his son most likely
Bro creative genes are inherited my dude
See like in Crusader Kings 2 the genius trait is pased down so the same applies here. If its percent is 25% for each child so we should be good hopefully.

Jawa that is brilliant
Finally another woke brotha arrives
Christopher Is pretty conservative with his dads work I also hope he has instilled that deep passion for it in his children
ehhh. CT did (could do?) nothing to prevent the mess that was tired-Jackson's Hobbit trilogy
Amazon put up $250M for the rights to it. I wonder how much “creative freedom” they’ve negotiated into that contract
I would guess "Most of it"
I would have permitted hobbit movies to be made after seeing lotr bro
Hindsight is 2020
Production was a disaster and Jackson probably kicks himself every day for it
2001-2003 LoTR films were the very best Hollywood could ever do, true. And we will not soon see their like again.
Nope we won’t. I’m glad we got them. Brilliant adaptations of the books.
I have a class with some freshmen and 9/10 have never hear of LOTR
Its all about Harry Potter
