@Jacob I don't think Ryan actually thinks an ethnostate is achievable, I'm pretty sure he prefaces a lot of his discussion about it by saying that. He just wants to give white people a more realistic idea of what types of personalities are required to continue existing

As I recall, the point that he made in the video that sent people over the edge was that an ethnostate wouldn't be successful based solely on how white the occupants were, you would also have to screen people for tendencies towards Nationalism (because, as we know, psychological tendencies are linked to genetics) to prevent LITERALLY THE SAME THING from happening again

But he's saying it doesn't have to be an explicit factor to have the desired effect

And chances of success are way higher because it's more palatable to the general population

I think he's correct in the sense that it's more socially acceptable to initially bring it up, but I feel like you'd get a weird look from most people if you told them that you wanna have this state that gives people psychological examinations to get into. And then there's the issue that political ideologies change every decade or so, so you'd have to keep redrawing this filter state if you actually want it to keep working.
