Oof

2019-02-25 21:47:11 UTC

About to move again soon too, @missliterallywho . Tired of paying a $1400 mortgage, going to build a tiny house in a county with super lax building codes. From a shipping container. Put a tenant in our house, so they’ll pay the mortgage for us 😃 then amass capital, while living tiny and few bills

2019-02-25 21:47:14 UTC

Just in case

2019-02-25 21:47:32 UTC

I’m against flight. Easier for me because MD is sharply segregated

2019-02-25 21:47:58 UTC

@⚡Clark⚡ sounds like a good plan! We wanted to do the tiny house thing but now with baby we really need room to stretch out

2019-02-25 21:48:01 UTC

Except for the schools. They literally bus in minorities.

2019-02-25 21:48:08 UTC

Too much mixing here. Not worth the risk when I have the capital to gtfo.

2019-02-25 21:48:25 UTC

There are some places that are just lost, and others where it's worth making a stand.

2019-02-25 21:49:02 UTC

Already bought the land, now waiting on an Engneer to draw up plans for permitting. 25k to build for materials only.

2019-02-25 21:49:22 UTC

Nice, in FL?

2019-02-25 21:49:59 UTC

Yes. Finding a county with sq ft codes low enough is pretty hard @Bogl - CA but I found a good’n

2019-02-25 21:50:18 UTC

Cool

2019-02-25 21:50:59 UTC

Can also be rented out after 1 year of living in it, as owner-builder. Expected rent is 500/mo. That’s an above avg ROI.

2019-02-25 21:51:28 UTC

Nice. I did the same with my rental.

2019-02-25 21:51:28 UTC

If I were to build a tiny house, the kitchen would be the biggest room. A tiny kitchen is hell to work in.

2019-02-25 21:53:32 UTC

@missliterallywho haha of course that’s what you’re concerned with 😂 very true tho.

2019-02-25 21:53:37 UTC

@Bogl - CA hell yeah

2019-02-25 21:54:13 UTC

California is full. Don't come here.

2019-02-25 21:55:04 UTC

2019-02-25 21:55:39 UTC

DC is set to be a mega- chapter

2019-02-25 21:55:47 UTC

Especially if people move here

2019-02-25 21:55:59 UTC

I would never move to DC.

2019-02-25 21:56:03 UTC

Can't do it

2019-02-25 21:56:18 UTC

It'd be like setting my soul on fire.

2019-02-25 21:56:27 UTC

@Freiheit - CA still have the most white people out of all states.

2019-02-25 21:57:09 UTC

I’d move to dc but I don’t like being far from family

2019-02-25 21:57:19 UTC

It's actually gotten significantly easier here as we've grown. Things were getting pretty dark before 2015...

2019-02-25 21:57:48 UTC

Family's #1. Everything else is a secondary or tertiary consideration.

2019-02-25 21:58:31 UTC

Does my Chinese prof only own one sport coat that is Olive Drab green? So odd.

2019-02-25 21:58:53 UTC

At least he is not wearing blue slacks today

2019-02-25 21:58:55 UTC

The answer is more prisons and non-Jewish Prosecuting attorneys.

2019-02-25 21:59:15 UTC

For crimes against fashion, lol?

2019-02-25 22:00:50 UTC

Yes

2019-02-25 22:01:42 UTC

What do you think about the idea (probably never to be executed) of selling our prison population to China?

2019-02-25 22:01:58 UTC

Interesting idea

2019-02-25 22:02:04 UTC

Wind is so cold and fast that it literally sucks the air from your lungs

2019-02-25 22:03:11 UTC

Insinuating China would pay a single red yuan for what's languishing in our prisons.

2019-02-25 22:03:38 UTC

Selling, outsourcing, idk the particulars

2019-02-25 22:04:14 UTC

For-profit prisons exist, prisoners are worth something

2019-02-25 22:05:17 UTC

Idk they are getting close to Sub Saharan Africa

2019-02-25 22:05:22 UTC

I love idea of selling our criminals to china
