I'm surprised parents haven't figured that out by now

2019-03-01 16:30:11 UTC

If she allowed her to get away with it she may rebel even further. Sometimes people rebel because they want to be told "no".

2019-03-01 16:34:42 UTC

"Get away with it"

I would express my disappointment, explain why pink hair is dumb, dye it back to natural color, tell her she can do what she wants when she lives on her own. Would also ask her *why* she did it, open a discussion about [insert reason].

2019-03-01 16:36:23 UTC

When my mom chose harsh punishments for small things when I was 18ish, it just hardened me against her and made me incapable of seeing *why* she preferred I make certain decisions.

2019-03-01 16:37:08 UTC

By that age you gotta prioritize setting them up to make decisions without you over getting revenge for disobedience

2019-03-01 16:39:11 UTC

@missliterallywho What would you tell them for why pink hair is dumb? It is, it looks awful, but seems like one of those things that would be hard to put an objective reason on.

2019-03-01 16:40:10 UTC

@sigruna14 I'd explain and show examples of what other people think of pink haired women

2019-03-01 16:40:49 UTC

And the damage it does to your hair

2019-03-01 16:41:53 UTC

Hopefully Britain will abolish their monarchy after Queen Elizabeth, passes away. They are essentially, Kardashians living off the public dole.

2019-03-01 17:10:03 UTC

Monarchy spends their private wealth

2019-03-01 17:10:21 UTC

Also king is more woke on jq than PM

2019-03-01 17:11:22 UTC

*The queen is dead boys, and it's so lonely on a limb*

2019-03-01 17:11:29 UTC

@reactionarytree prince Harry looks more and more like Jim Gaffigan every day. His trans child of color is going to bully him for his lunch money

2019-03-01 17:11:57 UTC

2019-03-01 17:12:09 UTC

2019-03-01 17:15:30 UTC

Broke: watch every royal wedding with 🍿
Woke: disband the monarchy cos it's <:honk:548295778888843266>
Bespoke: restore the monarchy to power and execute the traitors

2019-03-01 17:16:20 UTC

Except we should restore Tudor dynasty

2019-03-01 17:16:43 UTC

This

2019-03-01 17:17:40 UTC

Dammit Elizabeth, couldn't you just have had *one* child?

2019-03-01 17:19:58 UTC

I like monarchy compared to most other systems but i think it works less well the further you get from original warrior stock. Wed need a new warrior nobility to generate a new king.

2019-03-01 17:20:19 UTC

Only an era of chaos could produce such a caste

2019-03-01 17:20:23 UTC

Tudor dynasty = big ghey

Restore the Danelaw

2019-03-01 17:21:29 UTC

The modern elites are too comfy. Send them into battle if they want to keep their power.

2019-03-01 17:22:15 UTC

Thats being said singapore and luxemburg are monarchies and doing exceptionally well. But it may be a bit of survivors bias in that disfunctional monarchies collapse into democracy

2019-03-01 17:22:43 UTC

BattleRoyalcracy

2019-03-01 17:24:07 UTC

@Virgil Monarchy use their private money for everything, and any public taxes they get, they give back to the public with added interest.

2019-03-01 17:24:31 UTC

Also nations with Monarchies are among the most successful, at least in Europe

2019-03-01 17:24:43 UTC

The intense selection pressure of capitalism has produced bicameralism as the superior form of governance. I think its hard to argue thay there is a more efficient system than bicameral corporatism
