I'm just pointing out that some of their techniques involved using that money to buy power and influence. We don't have that ability but we do have other techniques such as populism
There's a bit of asymmetry at play we should be aware of
Gents just wanna say looking forward to meeting yall at LOPF. Haven't had a chance to talk to like minded ppl in years. Also, a bit faded off of scotch in celebration of my first 2 unit investment property. BTW, I feel bad for Nick and all the others who are in danger of being deplatformed for speaking truth to power and I hope to one day help us build our own platforms
🤔
Look at all these very fine people we have here, organizin’ to achieve a greater future and what not
you understand, things can be used against us slanderously and all
gratz on the property!
@Perihelion - CA Yes, I don't think we're going to emulate any past political change *exactly*
Thx man. Many more to come in short order.
Who got property?
Though there is historical precedent for small groups of motivated people overtaking the current power structure
hell yeah @ snow
Right here. Officially a straight white landowning male.
I've heard the Young Turks as an example
@Mr Snow congrats man that's huge
Maybe even the đź…±olsheviks could be an example
Obviously we don't intend to start a revolution, but it's an example of a small, at the beginning irrelevant group gaining power
The Bolsheviks are absolutely something to learn from
4 unit multifamily dwellings and under are exempt from Fair Housing Act if owner-occupied. Check your state laws of course
One interesting thing about the Bolsheviks is they were actually the minority Communist party but were able to gain control because they were better organized
In times of chaos whoever looks like they're in charge, is in charge
One interesting thing about Identity Evropa is they were actually the minority nationalist party but were able to gain control because they were better organized
In times of chaos whoever looks like they're in charge, is in charge
So guys, I'm slowly redpilling one of my relatives regarding identitarianism. The fact that Nick Fuentes/Patrick Casey got banned from CPAC blew his mind. He couldn't wrap his head around why CPAC would do that, and then gears starting turning in his head
@Perihelion - CA not to negate what you were saying because I think you're 100% right, but still appearance of power is only ever appearance.
does anyone want to hear my drive home effort post about emergent power?
I'll read it tbh
if I weren't about to be on the move, I would to, f
@Nico The Great - CA Same here I have co-worker who im trying to break his perception that Israel does nothing wrong
He'll probably always be civnat, but he's starting to realize that IE are some of the "good guys"
A friend of mine suggested that power was derived from the capacity to destroy. That got me thinking. I believe there are actually three sources of power. The first comes from the ability to destroy. The second comes from the ability to create. The first two are self-explanatory. The third source of power is just as real but more subtle. The third source of power is the ability to solve Collective action problems. This is what I call emergent power. It is in some ways less assailable than the first forms of power because it is both created and guarded by the structure of the network itself. A great example of this is banking.
Soft Power and Hard Power
@Perihelion - CA sensible
maybe I'm just too small brained but I can't find any reason to disagree with that tbh
i like that take, about the ability to create
Maybe this is low-IQ take, but wouldn't the 3rd source, the ability to solve collective action problems, eventually either create or destroy something?
No matter how many bombs you have, if you cannot solve a multi-national currency transaction then you can't get rid of the bank. You can't even replace the bankers because they're the only ones with the institutional knowledge, trust and network of relationships necessary to solve the collective action problem
@Perihelion - CA Well, there are ways to get rid of bankers, but that's really bad optics
there are white bankers, they're just not the top dogs
