That’s where America must stand with the resistance of the mullahs. Chaos can be made to our advantage
Yeah, that's the important thing.
Of course, we cannot be the world police, but we can support change for independence
Iran has a higher level of quality of life than NK, they're also (relatively) more open than NK, which also makes revolt more likely. The key to Iran won't be full economic collapse, it'll be scaring the Iranian leadership with the idea that the people will overthrow them.
Power is a frightening thing to loose. Look at Hillary. Lmao!
I don't have much hope in NK but it's still good to be hopeful
Well, the thing about NK, is we can make it glow like a lighthouse warning sailors of rocks. 👏👏👏🤣🤣🤣🤣
JK
To me the Iran issue is much less about independence and a lot more about nuclear nonproliferation. I really don't care who they have as a leader, I care if they are going to build up a nuclear stockpile because now the Saudis are threatening to build up their own nuclear stockpile, that will be very bad. Imagine a terrorist organization gaining control of a nuclear warhead. It would be disastrous. Another thing with Iran is they also may be the key to peace in the middle east if we can get them to the table. If we can get them to a joint conference with the Saudis and the Israelis, along with Russia which now is a major player in the middle east, then we could get a big peace deal to solve the conflicts that have been brewing there like the Syrian Civil War, the Yemeni Civil War, etc.
@Allen46 The thing though is we absolutely can, making people like Kim believe that we will consider that as a serious option is the key. We have to scare them to the table, not beg them to the table.
I agree that the Iranians could be a key to peace. Such a complicated issue, the civil war in Syria is still being supported by Iranian fighters as well. It’s just a screwed up mess. I believe that death and destruction is in their DNA
Just a very difficult topic
We can what if all day, but I believe huge change is the only answer. I fear it won’t be a diplomatic change
I believe we can get it done, it's all about fear and leverage. The worst thing that can happen is Iran's instability causes a civil war and proxy war, which will end up creating tons of new terror groups in its wake, a refugee crisis bigger than the one with Syria, we only should want destabilization to the point of making them scared enough to flock to the table.
It just boils dow to the Middle East is one screwed up mess and Iran got some 1.9 billion from US along with pallets of cash sent in unmarked planes. Something you’d only see in movies, that is become a reality. Crazy
The economy is booming around me.
More help wanted and hiring now signs than ever.
Nice
Everything is a whole lot more crowded, too. New businesses opening and all.
Yeah.
Similar to Trump kinda
He was a real capitalist.
Work or GTFO
Need to make that a bumper sticker. Lol
These deals Trump's gonna have with all of these nations really are going to put the economy on overdrive. Equalizing trade has done so much good for us already, steel is back and the Chinese are selling their real estate in NYC because now they have a deficit. Once we get both an equal playing field and much less trade barriers, we'll have a crazy export boom, manufacturing is going to go through the roof, the economy in general will skyrocket, if you thought 4.1 was good, trust me, it can go a lot higher than that.
I think that's overly optimistic, I doubt we're going to have an export boom, we'll still be heavily reliant on imports, manufacturing won't comeback unless you stop raising minimum wage and deregulate, which is debatable if is happening.
Also I don't think Steel "is back" China still out produces and sells us by substantial amounts in steel, and I don't think our steel industry has really recovered that much at all.
But I dunno, I haven't looked at that data.
Like even after leaving the TPP, it really had no positive effect, the damage was done.
I'm still glad we left, because now we have a chance of fixing this (((free-trade))) garbage.
Hi still glad we left, because now we have a chance of fixing this (((free-trade))) garbage., I'm Dad!
But, the damage to our industrial sector hasn't diminished.
Brit Hume retweeted Mark Collett lol
That’s one reason why Trump calls the media fake news and enemies of the ppl. Double standard, bias, backstabbing, dirt graveling, bottom dwellers
@zakattack04 fair argument
manufacturing isn't a wage job, it's salaried income
deregulation is happening right now, pretty rapidly
