Feels better than a felony would 😂

2020-05-02 01:45:20 UTC

Anyone have a split fix on their A BAR brace?

2020-05-02 01:46:21 UTC

*SBA3

2020-05-02 02:01:51 UTC

No... cause it's illegal.

2020-05-02 02:12:47 UTC

It doesn't affect real function

2020-05-02 02:12:56 UTC

Just annoying to look at

2020-05-02 02:52:47 UTC

Seems like everyone runs short CQB setups. Anyone run long range?

2020-05-02 02:54:38 UTC

I do long range stuff professionally, and my main fighting rifle has a 1-8 that I can push fairly far

2020-05-02 02:55:13 UTC

It’s worth noting most people usually can’t see past 300 yards do to environment, but I’m guesssinggg you don’t have that problem haha

2020-05-02 02:58:40 UTC

@Crye_Salesman I live in an urban setting, I would benefit from a CQB setup. Just was curious. 🙂

2020-05-02 02:59:07 UTC

Gotcha.

2020-05-02 02:59:28 UTC

An M4/MK18 esque rifle is more useful for that vast majority of people

2020-05-02 03:00:00 UTC

That being said precision assets can be a huge force multiplier if used correctly

2020-05-02 03:00:35 UTC

To avoid overthinking it I'll probably figure out the upper when I get my 80% lowers finished and get a lower parts kit put in.

2020-05-02 03:04:06 UTC

Seems sensible

2020-05-02 03:04:33 UTC

Have I got a CQB rifle for you...

2020-05-02 03:06:37 UTC

Cheap and Ballin, and clockwork reliable.

2020-05-02 03:07:15 UTC

Curious what groups you get with yours

2020-05-02 03:08:25 UTC

My last barrel was good for 2 moa with heavy match. Haven't tested this one yet.

2020-05-02 03:08:35 UTC

Not great but not bad

2020-05-02 03:09:03 UTC

Its no DMR but it will put rounds on targets

2020-05-02 03:18:16 UTC

Its so easy to throw around a corner. Dropping it to eye level feels more like clearing with a glock than a rifle

2020-05-02 03:19:04 UTC

I live in an urban environment so the only area longer than 100 yards is on major streets. My 11.5 does about 1moa and my 16" does about 0.8, both 1:8 and with good ammo.

2020-05-02 03:19:55 UTC

@Ballsdini what, you don’t like doing CQB with a suppressed 20” AR10?

2020-05-02 03:20:07 UTC

I have absolutely no experience shooting long range. Just putting dot on target

2020-05-02 03:22:30 UTC

It’s not hard, if you’re not dumb haha

2020-05-02 03:22:42 UTC

Shootings the easy part

2020-05-02 03:23:01 UTC

Good evening, FFL07 stoppin by

2020-05-02 03:23:21 UTC

FFL comes next week! Just in time lol

2020-05-02 03:23:52 UTC

Some day I'd love to learn about long range shooting because science is cool, but I don't have the time or money, or really need

2020-05-02 03:24:40 UTC

Your 16” sounds like enough to get you started tbh

2020-05-02 03:27:27 UTC

Well I mean the kind of long range that uses nerd stuff

2020-05-02 03:27:41 UTC

@Crye_Salesman sToPpInG pOwEr

2020-05-02 03:27:42 UTC

Oh yeah

2020-05-02 03:28:18 UTC

In fact, it’s easier to get nerdy with smaller calibers, because it gets affected faster

Whats your opinion on 300 aac vs 556?

2020-05-02 03:37:34 UTC

Not bad @Zone-Tan but buy some damn optics haha

2020-05-02 03:38:39 UTC

@LawlessHawk 5.56 is what I generally use, and I think is the right choice for *most* people.
I have a .300blk in a gun that is small enough that 300blk has huge advantages over 5.56, because that gun meets requirements that I have had for size
