Most gunshops charge like 25 for a transfer, it cost me 5 bucks, so that's profit.. accessories is where there is money to be made
You figure, if i make 50-75 a salemm I'd be happy with that.. I'd consider that pretty good..
Glad you have that mindset
@BigRed1 That’s the way to do it. And it helps build a loyal customer base.
Eventually we will have bench time, where we will discuss cleaning and repairs in detail.
My basement isn't finished yet
I turned my garage into my shop. I’m not doing a store front anytime soon. Word of mouth has worked way better than I’d ever guess
We can eventually do deep dives into issues and all that.. I like teaching, my friend butchered his 80%kit.. omg was it bad.. lmao
Peek autism... imo
Anyone got any insight on DIY anodizing? First hand exp?
Uhhhh no
Watched an read everything on line was jw if anyone had any first hand info.
@BigRed1 watched many people do that.
I wonder if buying 80% lowers in bulk to resell for cash anonymously (still as 80%s, not finished) would be something people would like to take advantage of.
@Bogs_Bunny by definition they are NOT firearms. Now if you finish them, and sell them. You've got an issue
@BigRed1 I know it's legal. I just wonder if anyone would want to pay cash instead of credit card.
@Bogs_Bunny text doesn't get the tone, I mean that Respectfully, you've just gotta cover your own butt.
@BigRed1 if they’re not registered, then how will anyone know that it wasn’t the person in possession that bought, milled, and assembled it? 🤔 buying them and finishing them is legal, just aren’t supposedly to sell it without a serial number. However, no number, no trail 🤷♂️
@[MS] Foxtrot795 actually the way the law is written and defined, there's no requirement to serialize it before you sell it, because it's not an income source for you. The law revolves around your intent. Was it intended to be for yourself when you made it or was it to sell? I have no idea how well they can prove intent.
@[MS] Foxtrot795 the issue could be made of intent, just as @Bogs_Bunny described
You run into residency issues too, we border NJ, 80% kits are illegal in NJ, just like standard AR mags
God I hate jersey
I know in NH, ffls don't care where you're from. If it's legal in NH they'll sell it to you. What you do with it after that is your responsibility.
But here in VA, non-VA residents can only buy rifles and shotguns, not handguns
I sold mags to MD residents and they super pinky promised they wouldn't take them to MD.
Anyone know if Nevada ask for ID for mags purchases?
Everyone to VC in 10 minutes. Updates from Chevy
@[CA] SoyBoi I'm not aware of anywhere that IDs for mag purchases. I worked at an indoor range that IDd for other reasons.
Sling recommendations? Single point quick detach.
@Ballsdini yeah the 5.11 boots are nice, wasn't rushing to get them off either
Howdy. Anybody in here running night vision?
Yesssir, I think a few of us

Spiritus Systems LV119.
Crye LV-MBAV or AVS
LV-119 is...well built for sure
I was looking at the crye today. It seems carriers and pouches are like optics. Buy once, cry once.
@Vanpoon(OK) i know that feeling
I recently got HSG taco pouches and cried lol
