Just think, if no one at that company even looks at the side of the receiver, imagine how bad the rest of the QC is 🤔

I dont trust something that says "sasaaafffefe" to actually be safe.

Nothing like the smell of gun grease on a rainy night

2020-05-09 00:02:21 UTC

I ended up having to settle with Anderson Mnfg, how much did I fuck myself with that choice

2020-05-09 00:09:19 UTC

Imo it will be fine, and you probably won't have any problems with it. Congrats on your new purchase. I had a PSA and it would leave dimples on the primers when I went to load it, not sure if that's supposed to happen. Maybe someone could shed some light on that.

2020-05-09 00:22:34 UTC

Uhhh

2020-05-09 00:22:48 UTC

Anderson is...well, do you have armorers tools?

2020-05-09 00:31:49 UTC

@Reno that's completely normal. Scared me too the first time I ever noticed that.

@GundyBun

Fairly sure that’s an issue with firing pin protrusion. @Crye_Salesman can you confirm?

2020-05-09 00:49:43 UTC

I mean it depends how heavily the firing pin is marked.

2020-05-09 00:50:16 UTC

Very lightly would just be because the firing pin is free floated and can bump around. If there’s a serious intent, it would be firing pin protrusion

2020-05-09 00:50:56 UTC

Every time I loaded it, there would be a visible dimple in the primer that was deep enough that I would always load it in a safe direction

2020-05-09 00:51:53 UTC

Not that I don't normally do that, but you know what I mean.

2020-05-09 00:53:59 UTC

Same happens on my Sig. I looked it up and it seems pretty typical

2020-05-09 00:56:13 UTC

Yeah, like I said, a light dimple is fine. But there’s a fine line where your firing pin protrusion could be actually protruding when it chambers

2020-05-09 00:59:29 UTC

Just file that shit down. Worked on my sks

2020-05-09 00:59:32 UTC

Dimples on the primer after firing is super common. If you don't have a dimple, you might have to worry about light primer strikes.

2020-05-09 01:08:40 UTC

Pls....do not....do not do that

2020-05-09 01:09:10 UTC

Too late, SKS boi took the file to the pin

2020-05-09 01:14:26 UTC

PSA has AK-Ps in stock right now. Expensive but PSA AKs are not PSA ARs; they seem to be damn good.

2020-05-09 01:16:31 UTC

They also have KS-47 pistols in stock.

@Crye_Salesman
That I do not, why do you say that? Have plenty of tools but none specific to armory

2020-05-09 01:26:25 UTC

Also..what the fuck is this? I know I've seen it but I'm doing this piecemeal and I can't remember the color bag this was in

Bolt catch/release and the associate roll pin, detent and spring. Goes in the lower just behind the magazine well

2020-05-09 01:41:00 UTC

Much appreciated, friend

2020-05-09 01:47:32 UTC

No problem. The trick is to get that thing in without scratching your receiver with the punch

2020-05-09 02:03:59 UTC

What’s the equivalent to the coat hanger trick for a 10/22?

2020-05-09 02:04:38 UTC

... Why do you ask?

2020-05-09 02:08:42 UTC

Are Burris optics worth a damn?

2020-05-09 02:13:16 UTC

Burris seems to be okay? But... Honestly I'd just save a bit more and go with a bigger brand.

2020-05-09 02:16:43 UTC

I mean if you can afford better I definitely would
