Is anyone familiar with "missionary syndrome". I called it like that, I don't think its a common name

It's when someone wants to change the world and people according to his beliefs

It's not just a normal decision to do what is better, it is a neurotic one

It's like absolutisation of his belief and idealisation of life

Whatever you think to be the truth, you want to prove it to others

Catholicism

I think it's more an effect of this phenomenon, rather than a cause

Catholicism encourages it, and people with missionary syndrome tend to be attracted to it

Something happened in the collective consciousness of humanity...I dunno like around 600 BCE where suddenly these religions started popping up that were like, "Yeah actually guys the world is horrible and full of suffering but wait there's a way out you just have to follow the One Truth Path to transcend or whatever gay prophetic shit I'm proposing."

So naturally they feel like they gotta go around saving others

What's the way to self-affirmation, to prove that you're special, that you're better than others? Have a "unique truth". And that desire to be better than others, to be special - stems from childhood

Having unique truth must be a shortcut to prove that, I think. Or for those, who want to be better by intellect.

For those who want to be stronger - sport is the way.

Lol in Swedish we call native Americans "indianer" and Indians "indier" but the left changed the word for sub Saharan Africans which used to be "neger", in all practial sense it's illegal to say now, you could even be fined for it if someone feels hurt by it although everyone said it until the early 2000's I still say it, always will I refuse to adopt newspeak. It was always a neutral word and Africans always called themselves "neger" too. What they're now called is literally blacks so "svarta" which is just copied from English for no fucking reason.
