They're way more stable than windows or linux.. Linux is finally a pretty good alternative for most desktop stuff.

and then a mini running audio in and out via RCAs on my board mix-minus

i haven't done any music production in a decade and a half at least

protools has always been a shitshow

I think in a lot of cases people run businesses primarily out of altruism

or some mix of altruism and desire to create

that's publically traded businesses

most businesses in america are small businesses, main street types.

i have a pair of businesses now, over my life i've started about a dozen.

mainly my motive is to create a product people are greatful for and create jobs/sustain my community

what would be my motive then?

why in the world would i want to take the risk of building something if i'm 1. not in control of it, 2. expected to have some assigned role in it?

advancing my race, or anything that abstract, is not going to be a motivating factor at 5am
