While Trump shouldn't have downplayed this he absolutely was not the only one doing this. Msm besides Fox did this all the way up to when italy's cases first exploded (when it became too large to ignore), which they then immediately used mainly as a political weapon against Trump until about a week ago when this also made no sense at all (though there is still some of this blame game being put on him). Also there is absolutely nothing wrong with including 'Chinese' as part of the name of this virus; the virus *originated* in China. That's like getting hung up on the names Ebola and Spanish Flu (and the latter didn't even come from there, likely also China).
