Hi all
...Why is someone pretending to be @Tommy Robinson
I can't remember if we had CoolMathGames or not in maths class @Deleted User
I remember we had MyMaths
Erm
Michael Jordan
Shaquille O'Neal
Kobe Bryant
Kareem, yup
Those were off the top of my head
Just a guy
Hi
Can someone help me understand how the electoral college system works (not from the US)?
So from what I understand, if you win the popular votes in a state, you win all the EC votes in that state
Just curious
And the number of EC votes for a state is determined by the number of representatives and senators for that state
Yeah
But then the number of reps is determined by the size of the state
I thought California had more EC votes though, because it has a lot of representatives
I'm from London and voted remain
But I respect the result of the referendum
I voted for Boris
As I couldn't fathom the damage that Corbyn will do to the economy
Yeah
Same here @TheBritishGamer โค๐ (Meh)
OK sure
Yeah
I am not impressed with the selection of candidates so far
Yup
And the trouble is that any Labour MP who I think would be good as leader
Has no leadership ambitions
Yup
Starmer is considered as being more centre-left
Labour needs to get rid of the stranglehold the far-left currently has over the party
But I think without making a full return to New Labour
Even though I can't stand Blair
You watch him in interviews and he does make sense
Like he said that when Labour lost the general election in 1983
A lot of far-left Labour party members said that it was because they weren't far left enough
So why then would they vote for the Tories lol
Yep
Agreed
Neither Miliband nor Corbyn were credible opposition leaders
Yep
Eating bacon when he is of Jewish descent
I think that killed his credibility as a leader
Erm, yeah no
I think Corbyn is another of those left-leaning hypocrites
Comes from a comfortably middle-class background
Are you sure that isn't just for the cameras?
Oh yeah
Supporting the IRA terrorist who bombed the Tory conference
No matter what you may think of politicians or those who support a particular party
You know his wife, Laura Alvarez, imports coffee from her native Mexico, and pays her workers dirt-cheap?
Yet he goes on about workers' rights
I don't watch sports
FeelsBadMan
I feel like we should be talking about <#524301554719784981> again lol
Maybe we need a sports channel on here
Yup
Plus, what was with Corbyn having wonky glasses during the campaign?
And his glasses being partly steamed up?
lol
Like, with regards to Brexit
I didn't think that there was much substance behind the Tories' election rhetoric
But I didn't want Corbyn to get into office
Yup
I think #getbrexitdone has become the new #maga lol
Yup
From Benjamin Disraeli if I'm not mistaken
@HeadlessCowboy The Republicans control the Senate anyway, so not as though anything actionable could have come from impeaching Trump
No, I just like this picture lol @Wayne
I take it they haven't looked at the fine print ๐
Hi there
I'm from the UK
Tried to watch a live stream of the impeachment
But after several minutes, gets tedious
Probably intelligence services.
He was in bed with the CIA and Mossad
LOL Vlad
I see what you did there
I don't believe in the idea of tribal loyalty @JesusHand
I'm not from the US
But when I vote
I vote for whomever I think will fuck up the country the least
The thing is
What if a politician make a promise
Then they are blocked at every possible corner from making good on that promise by their political rivals
Do you say they are lying Then?
I can give you a good example
I'm not from the US
But even I know the president can't pardon themselves if they are being impeached
Yup
Also issued more executive orders than Obama did @Stresbal
Do you know what really made me happy? @Stresbal
That by the end of last year, we had like a record number of protests worldwide
People have had enough
