that makes no sense
and yeah that type of eclipse is absolutely possible with a round earth
proof
i asked you first
deliver
no, I asked you to explain before you ask me. that's how this works
don't evade
however, I asked you to explain before you asked me. I will do so after you explain.
and you made the claim that it *couldn't* work first anyways
it was not clear
in the slightest really
all the video showed was eclipses and people going "that can't be heliocentrism" despite not ever giving a reference point for where the camera is being pointed at in the video. The only point in it that does give you a reference is with the Santa Fe footage and even that is possible given with how dim the sky was (meaning that the sun would jsut barely be visible over the horizon if at all yet) and with the moon's position (and with how the umbra and penumbra work)
also the video is extremely bloated and meandering
Yeah it's absurdly overblown
And with that the countries with the most emissions are China and India, and we couldnt do anything about that anyway
*and* these alarmists are usually the same people who will refuse nuclear energy despite it's damn near limitless potential
You can sometimes see both the sun and moon during an eclipse because the Earth's atmosphere messes with the images of both objects
@Lampz I said that the images of the sun and Moon are sometimes distorted by the Earth's atmosphere, which can give the impression that both objects are in the sky when in reality they aren't. This isn't personification, thus is how atmospheric distortion works. Nor was I saying that the sun and Moon are just projections. Good lord.
Lmao look who's this talking
The argument of "everyone's always believed in a flat Earth" is not a good one or an accurate one
You don't have evidence either, but somehow that's not a problem.
Not every camera has a fisheye lens<:lul:484994724118134784>
<:lul:484994724118134784>
Yeah they have a neck
Seems that way
uh
missing links have been found
Ah shit, here we go again
maybe send a relevant bit instead of just posting a 2 hour video
that has nothing to do with this subject
it's not
the inception of life doesn't matter in relation to how it adapts and evolves over time, and no one knows how life first appeared. I'd home in on the actual process.
no?
ginga just posted a comment relating to primordial soup, which is why i responded about nobody really knowing the origin of life
looks like its underwater
which makes sense, since astronauts train underwater
they train underwater
because it simulates zero G
maybe because they're the *vatican?*
it is one of the closest approximations to a zero G environment on Earth
jesus christ, we're just going all over the place now
i like how this somehow proves a flat earth<:lul:484994724118134784>
underwater training<:lul:484994724118134784> <:lul:484994724118134784> <:lul:484994724118134784> good lord
this is the pinnacle of flat earth arguments
the space tesla camera had real footage of earth
(they can't lol)
i could say the same about flat earthers
right where landforms disappear over the horison
while you have zero proof for it. of course.
probably why one has to resort to 'gotcha' moments and shfiting the goal post constantly
proof?
i like how you admitted that its backed by nothing lmao
also the flat earth community is still very small, so that's not saying much
he hasn't done that, to be fair
that's just a fallacious argument though. Numbers of believers =/= the truth. You need evidence.
nope
then how do things fall at the same rate?
that's literally not density
Atheism also operates on the preconception that a higher power doesn't exist in fairness
also this is a tangential argument and doesn't matter
Atheism isn't *literally* a religion but it is often used as an almost surrogate belief system
But Atheism in general does as well as Antitheism
I already said that Atheism isn't literally a religion
only that its followers can be just as dogmatic and zealous as religious people
so in that regard i believe you can draw a comparison, but yes Atheism doesn't really have the inner working of a religion as well.
But where these terms become problematic is when Atheism does mean a refusal of god in its original definition, and the word has been used to mean something that it isn't really.
probably an attempt at a 'gotcha' moment
That's how the word is used today, yes, but that's not the words original definition means
They shouldn't, because it muddies the language overtime
Gender has essentially been a synonym of sex until a few years ago, due to the advent of things like political correctness
I don't see why it's so bad to just keep original definitions.
that's not what I was saying in the slightest
no the suicide rate is virtually unchanged after transitioning and can worsen in some cases
no, I'm referring to the before and after attempts
That's great, but that isn't the case with all transgender people
well, in fairness, transitioning past 18 years or so means that gender dysphoria is an actual condition that they have. If you were to transition before that there's no telling if the kid would have grown out of GD.
also that is actually true, transitioning is kind of counter-intuitive to Gender Dysphoria.
It can and has absolutely worked for some
But there is a high enough suicide rate that I would think should raise alarm
I think we can all at least agree that the politicization of transgenders is crazy
and that the LGBT (as a community) is quesionable
not gay or trans individuals, but this group specifically
pride parades are ridiculous
also yes
yikes
not in terms of political climate
oh whoops
The far left is just becoming crazier by the day
Honestly i'd say its more of an issue with the left and the right
most people on the right are at least willing to have a dialogue with others, while the left just brands people as racists and misogynists
even against *moderate liberals*
i mean there are people on the right who do that, yeah, but with the left its damn near institutionalized
but you also have organizations like antifa and blm
i don't support the proud boys, but they aren't as bad as antifa
I have flown around the planet before<:lul:484994724118134784>
oh look, people are going on top of the "ice wall"
(glaciers are pretty sick though, ngl)
lmao
what evidence is there for a dome?
