I know you're a total doomer, based on our past conversations - I'm sure it's impossible for you to see any possible bright side
Well, I guess we will see
Soon, we will see if UBI is a feasible concept - due to Coronavirus
If billions magically appear and are able to satisfy the people...we're going into some interesting times
I don't think it'll be scientists in charge of AI
they'll create it, sure
but it'll be huge corporations like Google that control it
and Google does not give a flying fuck about America
just like scientists created the nuclear bomb
> Soon, we will see if UBI is a feasible concept - due to Coronavirus
@Dr.Cosby#1987 this isn’t UBI nor is it a good experiment for UBI
UBI itself is flawed.
Lets nuke Antarctica

Kill America and China, we make pollution
Not as much as India and China
And America is getting better with pollution
Nay nay on the non believers
Climate change is natural, but that dosent mean pollution isnt bad
Exactly
Why
Climate issues?
Just accept the fact you can't control it
Smh
@Holy Knight King 👑 Actually we can control it. The more the world talks about a subject, the more people are motivated to make change and the more ideas get spread around for better solutions. If you don't talk about the problem, the problem will never be solved.
who cares abt it
I mean we can't really control things like racism and crime but does that mean we should just stop talking about those subjects because we can't control them? If anything you have plenty of control over the health of the earth because there are things you can do in your daily life to lower your carbon footprint.
it's like a functionally irrelevant issue
if it doesn't exist we should do the same thing we would if it does
I have a deep fear that no one really cares enough about the climate to make change. It is a subject I am heavily interested in.
It's not just about climate though, it's also about health. It's not healthy to breathe in nitrogen dioxide and carbon dioxide all the time and people in big cities are surrounded by so much of it.
we always breathe carbon dioxide
In first world countries that isn't true.
Most cities have small levels.
yeah
no2 isnt good but at the levels rn in the US espcially its not really that bad
Well then why is it that people are already dying from pollution-related issues in first-world countries like the US?
These cases are rare.
Normally workers in high pollution areas.
There are still areas in the US that are badly affected by the pollution levels around them. For example, communities that are located next to coal-fired power plants. I understand that there are pollution hot spots in every country.
