Compared to undrr Obama

Unless of course those 8 years meant nothing

2018-12-20 21:57:40 UTC

A lot of numbers got better under the Obama presidency. If it wasn't for the ACA I think you'd be thought of pretty well.

@Tyberius D That's what I mean

Under Obama it went more blue

And then it just reversed back

The amount of red arrows is unbelievable

2018-12-20 22:12:29 UTC

Happens every 8 years, look at 08. Goes blue hard

@Tyberius D It's people gstting sick of the old party

Problem is, neither party learns

@TheBritishGamer β€πŸ”‘ (Meh) most intelligent thing I have seen you post

That's the reason I want to get into politics

To fix one party and eventually the country

2018-12-20 22:16:17 UTC

@TheBritishGamer β€πŸ”‘ (Meh) that's not how democracy works. My article on it comes out tomorrow. Want the preview?

Ik it's a naive thing to say

But I might as well try

Because what is the point of anything if we do not try all we can

2018-12-20 22:17:22 UTC

The rotation is what makes democracy good.

But people suffer and that's the problem. I want competition between the two parties. A competition of which party can get the best policies for the people

Problem is that neither party can be assed

Both parties (both in the US and UK) are content with being half-assed and getting votes because lesser of two evils

2018-12-20 22:22:37 UTC

@TheBritishGamer β€πŸ”‘ (Meh) people will always suffer, but in democracy it happens a hell of a lot less.

There is plenty of competition between the two parties, the problem is not the politicians but the public. A country doesn't operate well when you have uninformed, greedy half-wits voting in the elections.

Of course, Democracy is the best thing we havd

And both politicians and the public are to blame

Politicians influence the public and the public blindly follows them

Orwell made so many jokes about this in 1984

A masterpiece btw (albeit despressing)

2018-12-20 22:30:48 UTC

@TheBritishGamer β€πŸ”‘ (Meh) as much as I love to give Trump s***, I usually don't blame the politicians. It is our job as the electorate is to keep our politician's in check, we have failed to do so.

People are easy to manipulate

GG @TheBritishGamer β€πŸ”‘ (Meh), you just advanced to level 9!

They're fickle

Damn!

I didn’t think trumps pledge to drain the swamp would be to bring all the swamp monsters into the White House and let muller just go to town on them... he’s playing 3d chess y’all

2018-12-21 16:12:12 UTC

own != proud

2018-12-21 16:12:23 UTC

do you understand terminology and context?

2018-12-21 16:14:38 UTC

Did you watch the video? Because I watched it live, and he multiple times said if he didn’t get $5 from congress for a wall (that Mexico was supposed to pay for) that he’d be proud to shut down the government and would own it
