it's illegal to pay someone less because of their race, gender, religion, or sexuality
if it was legal then there would be no men in the work place
the wage gap was "invented" when people took the average of what women man and the average of what men make
they never took in account for what position they work at, if they received a raise, or maternity leave.

The problem with the gender pay gap is that they compare people with completely different roles within their businesses to eachother
The wage gap doesnt exist. On a federal if a man and a women share the same type of job they must be paid the same before taxes and contract dues.
